Sun Ray Beach Resort — Hotel in Point Pleasant Beach

We love Point Pleasant and have found the place where we will stay going forward! We absolutely loved staying at the Sun Ray Beach Resort. We stayed at the pink house for one and a half weeks and have nothing but positive feedback. The location, one block from the boardwalk, cannot be beat. If it wasn’t for picking up food we wouldn’t have had to use our car for the whole trip. The pool was such a nice treat. It was kept extremely clean and heated, so it was always nice and enjoyable. My kids loved it. The house was very well kept. My biggest fear about renting a house is that the beds will be uncomfortable and I will have trouble sleeping for a week, but not at the pink house. Beds were extremely comfortable. Bathrooms were nice and kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. The front porch was great to relax on in the evening. If I wanted to be micro managed while on vacation I wouldn't go on Vacation, I would stay at work. Owners keep there place very nice and I also kept it very clean and left it Exactly the way I found it. I stayed in a house that slept 5. I had 4 people in it and had a cousin stop by and stay over one night. If my math is correct that's 5 people. When I asked for availability for summer of 22 I received a response that I did not advise them of a person staying over night and didn't ask permission for that ?? On that note they decided not to allow us back. It's OK thou , I will take my money elsewhere and not recommend this place at all. She told me we caused her Stress, there in the wrong business if they can't handle families ( not children) at there rental , especially after we did absolutely nothing wrong. Owners are rarely there but someone is watching 👀 and reporting back to them , scary to know that , maybe there is hidden cameras in the homes ? Who knows what else they saw ??...

The resort is beautiful. Joanna and her husband are very nice, attentive and responsive. The house is well maintained and I slept like a baby each night. The convenience to the boardwalk, beautiful clean beach, immaculate pool, and fireworks were perfect. The town has everything you need close by. Amazingly good food and drinks too!!
