B2 Bistro + Bar — Restaurant in Point Pleasant Beach

First time patrons to B2 from high reccomendations from friends. Visited for Easter Sunday Buffet and took the last seating at 4 o’clock figuring it wouldn’t be as crowded and i was correct and happy. Entered and was greeted with a very warm Hello and welcome and Happy Easter. We were seated promptly to our table for two. It did take some time for our Server to come to our table, as she was going back and forth with some food for the buffet. When she did come over she was friendly and full of energy and a great big smile. She told us we could help ourselves to the buffet. Found a manager to ask for fresh shucked oysters as they were next to shrimp, which my husband is allergic to. Manager came out with a small plate of four which was appreciated. had to ask for them to bring out more plates as there were none out to proceed with our meal. As this was their first buffet they will work out the kinks to make it perfect for next time. Had to speak to managment about an issue and Amanda came to our table to speak with us and she was so very kind and handled the situation with grace to make sure we were happy. I recently had the pleasure of dining at B2 Bistro & Bar in Point Pleasant, NJ, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance is inviting, blending a cozy, rustic charm with a modern, vibrant energy that sets the perfect mood for any occasion.

The service was impeccable. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu, which made our choices easy and enjoyable. The staff's commitment to hospitality is evident in every interaction.

As for the food, it was simply outstanding. Every dish we tried was a culinary delight, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients and presented beautifully. The seafood was particularly noteworthy, bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The cocktails were innovative and expertly crafted, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal.

Let me start off w/ saying our family , friends love B2. Food is great and 98 % of the time we have a great time at B2. Unfortunately this is the second time w/ the same bartender we had a unfortunate time. Today Saturday 3/16 we simply asked if we could watch CBS the Purdue vs Wisconsin game. After fifteen minutes and zero attention from him my girlfriend asked if he could put the game on CBS again please… We were told “Listen I have a full bar I’m too busy”. The way that was handled was totally inappropriate and rude we are very kind people who live locally and simply just wanted to watch a basketball game at a bar at lunch time. After this happened he made it a point to pay zero attention to us. Luckily the other bartender noticed and made it a point to serve us. We stayed for one drink after this happened and called it a day at B2. Unfortunately this was the second time this guy has made us feel uncomfortable and has been very disrespectful and we will not be coming back to b2 anytime soon.

Very kind and very professional and it goes a long way after we had a little bit of an unfortunate time at B2 few weeks back.
