Spa Bella Salon & Boutique — Local services in Point Pleasant Beach

Not being from around here I was extremely nervous about finding someone to do my hair & make-up on my wedding day. I used to work for a make-up company and can be a little particular. Spa Bella was a preferred vendor of Crystal Point, so when my mother came up for my dress fitting I called Lauren to see if she could squeeze me in last minute, which she did without a problem. Being my first experience with Spa Bella I was blown away by them being able to accommodate my last minute request. I did my trial with Kelley & Nicolette, and couldn’t have been happier. I was nervous going into my trial, but left looking and feeling like a million bucks. Lauren helped me every step of the way in the planning process. She even helped me rework the schedule the day before our wedding to make sure I was at ease. We had 4 stylists Kelley and Alie for hair, and Nicolette and Priscilla for make-up. My morning was stress free because of these ladies. They made my bridal party, MOB & G, and I feel and look amazing. Due to the heat many of my bridesmaids decided to opt for the airbrush application, Nicolette and Priscilla made this last minute change without batting an eye. My make-up lasted all day even in 95 degree weather. Today was the first time that I went Spa Bella. Myself and my daughter went and had pedicures. When we first walked in and sat down in the waiting area, there were nail clippings on the table in front of us. We were led back to the pedicure area and our service began. I will say that the girls that did our pedicures were very kind and courteous. The specific one who did mine obviously was not a nail girl. She was having trouble removing my gel from a previous pedicure. After about 20 minutes trying to remove it. The other operator who was doing my daughters pedicure came over to my feet. She took the file that she was using on my daughter‘s toes and put it right on my toes and started filing. After the gel was off the operator proceeded with my pedicure. I had to ask her to re-cut my toenails because originally she had only cut two of them. The massage time was horrible. There was no hot towel. My toenails were polished horribly. Some of my toes half a nail was not covered. To top it off there was a lot of polish on my skin and no topcoat was ever applied. This is the worst pedicure I ever had. Being in the beauty industry for almost 40 years. I could not believe that a salon I thought so highly of before I entered ended up being such a disappointment. It was also very dirty. salon: i always go here to get my hair cut! i go to tony and she does an amazing job. i have really curly hair and she is the only person i trust to cut my hair. i found her off instagram about a year ago when i got messed over by a hairstylist. i got a balayage from this other place and they ended up just doing chunky gross highlights. after i got that done i found tony on instagram and asked her to fully color my hair to fix it. and she did! i won't let anyone else touch my hair now. she's such an amazing stylist and i can't wait for her to cut my hair again! and hopefully do my prom hair this year!! and price wise it's really worth the money and it's honestly not much money at all!

boutique: last time i was here at the end of june i got a shirt from the boutique and it's absolutely adorable. i love it so much and wore it to a 4th of july gathering. the only problem i've had is because it crosses the sides are starting to tear and i'm going to have to sew it so it doesn't tear the shirt. but the shirts adorable as you can see from...
