Bam Bam Burger Co. — Restaurant in Point Pleasant Beach

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. It is not worthy of even half a star. This restaurant came highly recommended to us, as being an awesome restaurant with great food and great staff. I also wish I didn’t have to write a negative review, but unfortunately it is very warranted. So to start out, we waited for 10 minutes for anyone to even come take our order at the counter. We could see employees in the back, but no one noticed we were standing there. Meanwhile a line was starting to add up behind us. I looked around and saw about 8 people in the restaurant eating. Only one person was waiting for food, and the rest of the customers were about to leave. The remaining tables were dirty and just had half eaten food on them. Finally an older blonde lady came up and took our order, she seemed very agitated, and any question we asked seemed like she was being bothered to answer. She then starts looking at our small child, who is touching the menu. He had bent up the corner of the menu to look underneath. The blonde lady, then reprimanded my child and reached out and snatched the menu from his hand almost hitting him. In which I looked at her in shock, I then told my son not to touch the menu again. And you can clearly see she’s not happy at all at this point. And neither was I at the point, if the food had not been paid for I would’ve have left. There is always a way to talk to small children with a kind of language they can understand. So we sat down to wait for the food, we had to find a area that was clean. Which has hard to find because the place was filthy. We finally get our order, we then begin to walk towards the door, she stares at us mean. Which is uncalled for considering, she is the one in the wrong. We get back home, and start giving everyone food. We open up my child’s food, and the employee literally sabotages my child’s order, to the point that it’s inedible. Someone at that restaurant squirted ketchup, all over the bun the whole inside of the burger it was literally dripping and oozing all over the table. I’m only writing this review to show the petty behavior or a grown adult over a 6 year old child touching a menu. What’s sad is we ordered $75.00 of food, everyone loved the food accept for our child who I had to go out and buy new food for. I also forgot to add my child cried and asked what he did to make that lady so angry. I told him sometimes people have bad days, and todays was the blonde lady bad day. And now for Bam Bam Burgers, I hope you can understand why I wrote a negative...

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! This place is ALL PRESENTATION and ZERO QUALITY. Their prices are RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED. Building smells like old grease trap!!!

Tasteless tiny frozen burger patties that remind me of the sad burgers from high school cafeteria.... for $15+ each!!! I couldn't care less about the fancy bun. A small bottle of soda costs more than if you went and bought a 2-liter! Fries are $7?????, 8-pc nuggets almost $10!!!!! ... TEN DOLLARS FOR 8 NUGGETS!?!?!?!?! The same nuggets in a 2-lb bag (probably 60 nuggets) is only $7 from Walmart. AND they charge EXTRA for toppings like pickles!!! Are they CRAZY??? Went for lunch for me and my kid was OVER $50!!!! My burger was disgusting and tasteless. My son wouldn't finish his, said it tasted "dirty". Fries were soggy and dense, definitely had not been blanched, doubt they are fresh. Nuggets were mushy and tasteless. I complained about the food, especially for the high price, and no one cared, no offer to make me happy in any way. NEVER EVER GOING BACK. It is so obvious that at least some of the good reviews are SO FAKE, solicited by family, friends, staff, or owners. Very few people would go into such detailed praising of food, management, and staff all in one review. Clearly planted good reviews. I'll stick with The Ark, bigger, better, FRESH burgers that COME WITH a mountain of crispy fresh fries, for LESS $$$. Regardless of how much everything has gone up, there is still no excuse for these insane prices. Don't let them rob you. STAY AWAY.

"Best Burgers in NJ"????? ...

The food (veggie burger and fries) I had was really great but sadly I would not recommend this place. One point is that food was just not a good value for price at a casual burger joint, $16+ with no fries included (why??) and the only option is a $7.50 full order of fries (note it should be good for two people).

I tried to order water and the cashier quietly added a bottle of water to my order without saying anything, and then when I specifically asked for tap water after noticing, they didn't have any (not a huge deal but it's not asking much considering any $23 burger at a full service restaurant will include water if desired).

And on the note of service, my party had a terrible experience since three of them ordered the crab cake sandwich, specifically noted on the menu (online and in store) as having 2 pieces of crab cakes, and each one only had 1 sad crab cake. Perhaps a mistake, perhaps an intentional omission, but given the chance to address it when pointed out to the lone worker (same cashier), we got a quick shrug, no explanation and not even the slightest attempt to rectify the situation. And on top of that, no manager on site to handle the situation they clearly didn't train their employees for.

Cute casual burger place with a ton of potential - I want to love it, but there's some ironing out...
