Before I even begin, remember, this is Point Pleasant. As the good weather comes, so do the people. And in any weather, weekends are prime time. My wife and I don't live far, and we tend to avoid the summer insanity. If you want to come to this place and hang out, do it during the week. It's just the nature of the area. Ok....so, we come to Point Pleasant often, and I can write a book about what a nice place it is. So, come, eat, get out and take a nice walk along Arnold Ave. After eating here, you'll need to walk it off....nice portions. We found this place simply by walking past it a week ago. It looked inviting so we gave it a try. You need reservations. It opens at 5 and it's packed at 5. BYOB...I love that. It's a quaint place but not uncomfortably tight. The people there are wonderful and the customers are nice too which creates a great vibe. We passed on an appetizer simply because we didn't want to overeat, though it all sounded great. Our dinners came with salad, bread and a very yummy dipping oil. They use a house salad dressing which was perfect, nice and light. My wife ordered the chicken parmesan. I had the Chicken Di Casa, which was grilled chicken topped with peppers and mozzarella and a copious amount of a balsamic sauce. Both dishes (yeah, we sampled each) were absolutely delicious. In fact, after one bite, I looked at my wife and said how amazing it was. I'm kind of glad we didn't get an appetizer because I would never have finished the meal, and my wife ended up boxing half if hers anyway. I think next time, I'll try an appetizer. The portions were big and so what? You'll have food for the next day. Our waiter, Mark, was very super nice and helpful. In fact all the help there were friendly and professional. I literally was shaking hands with them as we left. The prices for this caliber of dining is not bad at all. And again, there is no skimping on portions. I highly recommend....just remember that any restaurant on Arnold Ave is gonna be in demand on the weekend. But it's just really good. Worth the trip.

What an incredible experience last night at this amazing new restaurant in point Pleasant, let's start with ambience as soon as you walk in the places, immaculate, the music was spectacular It had a really amazing feeling when you walked in. next the service the best service l've had in a long time I'm. The staff was so attentive and so accommodating the young server Michael walked up to our table told us we had to have the rice balls l've been in Restaurant Business for a long time it was nice to see someone so enthusiastic about a special l had to have them and I don't even like rice balls. He was so passionate about selling them, and they were humongous and delicious!! Now the food best stuffed mushrooms l ever had, we shared a pasta course. I felt like I was at my dinner table at home growing up in the Bronx. It was so delicious, for dinner my wife and I both had specials. My wife had the fish I had stuffed pork chops. Everything was really good. Cannot wait to go back and enjoy the regular menu. This place is going to be a tough ticket to get into very soon!!!

We had a delightful evening at Casa d’Angelo, a lovely and cozy BYOB restaurant. To start, we shared the Burrata special, which was generously portioned and absolutely delicious. For our main courses, I enjoyed the Filet Of Sole Marechiara, and my dining companion, had the cod special in Francaise sauce. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. We sopped up every bit of sauce with our bread ! Our waiter, Mike, was professional and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed. Sal, the bus boy, was equally impressive, always on top of things. They both added to the pleasant atmosphere with their friendly demeanor. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience. We can't wait to return and will definitely be recommending Casa d’Angelo to our friends!

After making a reservation weeks ahead we were seated in a cozy corner. The waitress arrived pronto to give us menus and tell us about the specials, I asked her to give us 5-10 minutes to sip on a glass on our fine bottle of wine. She returned in 5 minutes, and took our order. The salad was excellent but was swept away the minute we put our fork down. Our delicious dinners of eggplant rollatini and veal franchise were served and swept away as soon as we took our last bite. Both dinners exceeded our expectations in both taste and serving size. We had Tiramisu for dessert and I think it was the best I’ve ever had. Timing wise it took an hour and ten minutes to eat our salad, eat our dinner and have dessert. The hostess came to our table to inform us that someone was waiting for our table. I was taken back and told her we made a reservation and we were being rushed out. She said she thought we were walk ins. I’m not sure what difference that would’ve made We left our unfinished glass of wine on the table and politely left. Although the food was excellent, it certainly was not our idea of relaxing over what could have been fine...
