Always on the lookout for a new place to eat, seeing this place being renovated brought some excitement. This morning we had the time to sit and enjoy a meal so we chose to come here. They did not disappoint, from the friendly owners, staff and decor, it was a win in my book. The colors certainly work well with the decor, and it didn't feel overly bright nor dim, and dark. The menu has a wide variety of drinks and meals to choose from, all reasonably priced. I chose the Farmhouse House bowl, which had shredded short ribs, onions, hash browns, and 2 eggs. I chose to have over easy eggs, and it was so good! It was a perfect amount of food for my liking, not left feeling overstuffed, and I'm definitely not hungry for more. Their coffee is not your typical diner style coffee, I found it to be rich and flavorful. My wife had the Monte Cristo sandwich, and it looked amazing. It tasted as good as it looked! We definitely want to go back for lunch one day and rumor inside the restaurant is they may experiment with a limited dinner menu in the near future! I'd suggest joining their mailing list or facebook page to see whats new. The only thing they didn't have was a specials menu, but thats just me wanting to see a chef's personal creations. They also have a small market in the same space, that you can buy fresh baked goods and coffee or meals on the fly. It also has a small variety of various items for sale.

I'm not one to normally post a negative review, but I went to start my anniversary with my husband here for breakfast and was upset that $50 was honestly just wasted. I wouldn't recommend this place when there are so many other local shops that are worth it... The wait staff wasn't rude, but they don't check in to see if a drink is empty. When you order your "specialty" crafted latte, it's nothing special. It honestly is just a watered down latte. Not worth your $7. After a long wait, when our food did come out the plates were hot, yet our food was cold. Not a good sign. I'd like fresh food, not food sitting on a hot plate under a warmer... I ordered a simple biscuit and gravy, which was not only cold but very dry. Where was the sausage gravy? They really skipped on this one and not only didn't put any sausage gravy on the top biscuit part, but barely any on the bottom. The eggs were again, not only cold, but over cooked too. My husband ordered the Farmhouse Hash Bowl. Sadly, this too was cold and when you have cold brisket, it's a huge turn off. I'm sad that this one didn't work out as I'm a local and really wanted it to! Especially since when you walk in and see the bakery section looking so great! Overall, I sadly wouldn't return. It's just not worth the wait or the money.

Overall 5 stars, 5 stars for Service, 5 stars for atmosphere but 4 stars for food simply because everything was way too salty and I have a few critiques. I want to first say the market is so cute and a great spot to grab quality items, I especially love the selection of canned Mocktails available. The pastries looked out of this world and the espresso was divine! Let’s talk about the crab cake eggs Benedict, now Pop’s Corner, you’re in Point, you really need to knock crab cakes out of the park in a town like this. I really love that you use real crab meat but there is way too much breading and too much salt overall. I recommend you make the crab cakes smaller and increase the ratio of meat to breading. The side of home fries were also not great, too crispy. I would recommend grilling home fries instead of deep frying them for a better texture and flavor. Other than that everything was very great! Great coffee, great espresso, great pancakes and a great atmosphere!

3/5 stars total for food here’s what I’ve had so far Chicken & Waffles- 2.5/5- came with 1 large waffle with 4 -5 pieces of large crispy chicken. This dish was okay but I wouldn’t order it again. It came with 2 large scoops of butter which at first was a nice touch but as I ate it made the waffles soggy and it was to much it ruined the dish a bit.

Brioche French Toast-5/5- really delicious and well cooked they were super fluffy and the real maple syrup was delicious I wish I had a bit more strawberries and maybe some whipped cream or something.

Biscuits & Gravy- 4/5- Really liked this dish and definitely recommend adding the sausage to it.

Pancakes-2.5/5- These were just okay, really flat and not fluffy at all, taste was good. Real maple syrup was good probably wouldn’t order these again though.

Service- 3/5- we had DJ as our server both times and she was professional & efficient, and seems to know the menu well and was able to answer all of our questions. Onto food service, we have come to eat there at there busy times so food usually takes a bit long 20-30 minutes maybe ? There brand new through so im sure as they get into a groove and get more comfortable things will be quicker.

Atmosphere-2.5- this place is brand new so it did have a weird paint smell maybe ? Decor was modern and had minimalistic farmhouse vibe. It was clean and bright. It was a little awkward when a lull came around and staff kinda just watched us eat standing in a line. Everyone was nice though. Atmosphere would be better if...

We brought our nieces here for breakfast. While the atmosphere was nice and bright, the restaurant appeared to be clean.. $90 for breakfast for four is a bit much. $6.00 for a side of pork roll (3 pieces) is sorta crazy. Especially when I can go a few blocks over and get a whole PEC sandwich for $5.50. The pancakes our nieces ordered came out very undercooked, and while the waitress did take them back and bring them back out fully cooked, she did seem annoyed when I brought it to her attention that they were still very mushy & battery….if we’re paying $12 for 3 pancakes, they should be cooked properly. & the customer shouldn’t feel bad for asking for them to be cooked properly.

Coffee wasn’t great, but it wasn’t the worse. they’re not a “coffee shop” so I didn’t have high expectations on the coffee.

Staff was friendly, but was slighting uncomfortable that they just stood in a line near the hallway leading to the bathrooms watching you eat, find something to make yourself busy or look busy, instead of standing and observing the customers eat.

I really wanted to love this new place, as we live in point and are always trying to support local business & enjoy going out to breakfast every Sunday morning. Unfortunately, I did not see the quality of “gourmet food” for price here and we will not...
