Beach Bagel Trattoria — Restaurant in Point Pleasant Beach

We ordered two breakfast bagels via phone and arrived 20min as discussed in the shop. It was super crowded and I understood we had to wait. They said the bagels would be coming out every minute. Meanwhile all new customers coming in after us, got their bagels before us! After further 20 minutes we asked again politely where the bagels are and again got the reply - they are coming shortly. After 45 min we finally got them. The bagels are good but the wait not worth it. There was not even an apology nor a discount for waiting that long. Absolutely Amazing!!! I can't recommend this location enough. I have been a vendor covering all of the deli's in Long Island... needless to say, I have been to enough locations to know a good one, a great one, when I see one. I currently reside in New Jersey. My cousin came to visit and I wanted her to have a true deli experience. What I experienced at this deli far surpassed my highest expectations. Pasquale and his team welcomed us like family. They were attentive, kind, and delivered on all angles. This is by far one of the most personable deli's I have been too. I did not enjoy my meal here. While the service was friendly, the eggplant parm sandwich was lacking flavor with little sauce and cheese. The jalapeño bagel tasted as if the dough didn’t have time to proof. It was hard, dense, and overall tasted stale. My partner however had a bagel that was somewhat enjoyable.
