I went yesterday to charge my car while I ate dinner it was either IHOP or crimson coward still open after 9pm. I decided to try something new and went in crimson coward. (I should have gone to IHOP) After looking at their menu and saw it was very similar to raising canes and chik fil-a I ordered their crimson sandwich and waited 15 minutes and when it came out I lifted it to take a bite and oil dripped onto the table almost on me. I still took the bite and burned my mouth of how hot it was. It was served to me right out of the frier. I tried to take more bites of the excess chicken coming out of the sandwich and the seasoning tasted good but the chicken was too hot to enjoy. I tried the sauce it was good, just like Cane's and then the sandwich started falling apart because both pieces of bread were soggy from all the oil it had and kept dripping from the sandwich and that's when I figured that if I ate it I would get sick from how oily it was. I told the cashier and asked for a refund. He called his manager and my refund was authorized, I asked for a receipt and was told I would get my money back in my bank account after 2 days. If the owner or manager reads this maybe it would be a good idea to not serve the chicken to customers right out of the frier and let it rest first for all the excess oil to drip on a plate? I gave 2 stars because the cook very apologetic offered me a side of Mac and cheese when I apologized to him and told him I really wanted to eat the sandwich because my sugar was low. I believe in second chances and maybe when I am in town again to charge my car I'll try crimson coward again.
Update 08/30/24...I finally got my refund. I had to call them to remind them I hadn't gotten my refund and spoke with the manager who said it was the first time he heard about it but he would take care of it. It took 7 days. I gave them another star...
Read moreI usually never have to write bad reviews, but I can’t let this one go. My order wasn’t ready when I arrived, which I understand can happen during the dinner rush. Still, my order was incredibly simple: one Lonely Coward and one single patty Snash Burger without cheese. The burger without cheese was specifically for my father.
After waiting an additional 10-15 minutes, I expected the food to at least be fresh and worth the wait. Instead, what I received was the complete opposite. The Snash Burger was cold, overcooked, and clearly made with zero care or attention. It genuinely tasted like something that had been sitting out all day, reheated, and then tossed into the bag. For the price and the time I waited, this was completely unacceptable.
The only thing that kept this order from being a total disaster was the Lonely Coward, and even that was mediocre at best. It wasn’t cold or burnt like the burger, but it was far from good.
What makes this experience even more disappointing is that I’ve ordered from this location several times before and never had an issue. I trusted the consistency, which is why I didn’t check my food before leaving — a mistake I won’t make again. By the time I got home and opened the bag, the quality was so poor that it wasn’t even worth the drive back to complain.
This meal felt rushed, careless, and disrespectful to paying customers. Unfortunately, this experience has completely ruined my trust in this location, and I don’t plan on returning. Do better, because this level of quality is simply...
Read moreI went for the first time to this restaurant yesterday 6/2 while charging my car to grab some hot chicken for my girlfriend and myself. The food was great but what was especially standout was demonstrated by the staff while dealing with a very difficult customer. The young Asian man working the register demonstrated extreme poise, professionalism, and patience while dealing with a very likely mentally challenged, but very confrontational, customer who spent what looked like 30+ minutes picking apart every square inch of the menu and restaurant operations in a difficult manner. The employee maintained a professional demeanor and answered his questions while moving other customers through the ordering process without issue. Eventually the challenging customer ordered and moved on to the second employee making food who also interacted with patience and grace while preparing the food.
I just want to commend these employees for keeping their cool and doing their job well even under these circumstances.
Additionally, the food was good, the hot was hot, and it all hit the spot for my girlfriend and I. I will be stopping by here again when I hit this...
