Have lived in Phillips Ranch for 32 years. Waited with enthusiastic anticipation of this pizza restaurant to open. The first time was about 3 weeks after your grand opening. Ordered a vegetarian pizza. Very dissappointed, the crust was undercooked, tasted the doughy crust. The toppings were sparsely applied on the pizza. Thought to give a 2nd try, so recently went back. This time ordered a vegetarian calzone. After a few bites looked inside the calzone. It was 2/3 empty, only 1/3 fillings, and walked out hungry. When this calzone was delivered to the table, requested ranch dressing, and was told would be an extra charge. Final note: I'm 68 years old, and pizza is my all time favorite food. The wife and I can recommend three other pizza restaurants. With delicious cooked crust, generous fresh and ample toppings, and we get ranch dressing without extra charges. Sorry Pomona Pizza Company, we tried your restaurant two times now, and we'll stay with those pizza restaurants that have consistent, delicious, quality food. Wish this was not the case, as your close location is the only plus. The Pizza Company now has approx. total six restaurants, definitely get the impression you have strict policies regarding limiting toppings to your customer's. Year's ago went to the Chino Hills Pizza Company, the previous owner knew how to make a super good pizza, new ownership is profit 1st, and...
Read moreI have been here several times in the past but this is my first time reviewing them. I would say the atmosphere changes as the seasons do. Pretty much when sports are in season it will get a little crowded. I've been here several times during lunch hours and the customer flow is steady, dine in varies, overall there's a good chance to find a seat. I ordered a small pepperoni, sausage, bacon and bell pepper pizza (6 slices) with 2 16 oz of Elysian Space Dust. The bill was around $ 35, which to me is a little pricey. However the pizza came out steaming hot and cooked to order. As I mentioned I have been here before and will return. This may not be the best pizza, IMO, it is still a great choice to try out! There's plenty of TVs, games for the kids, small tables and larger group tables. Bathrooms are conveniently to the right of the cashier. Other customers did order wings and green salads. The wings were steaming hot and the salad...
Read moreTerrible customer service. When I arrived to pick up my pizza at the pickup time, the girl at the front said it would be 5 more minutes. So I waited 10, then I approached again and another girl told me 10 more minutes. So I waited another 10 and approached again when I was told it would be another 5minutes! Apparently there was some issues with the tickets printing which caused the delay. However, not once did anyone apologize for the delay, apologize for the inconvenience, or even offer me a complimentary soda or even a water while I waited, the entire time I stood there waiting. I worked for Starbucks for years as a barista and in management. I currently work in the food industry and know how many competitors are out there. We wanted to try this location because we have great experiences with Baldwin Park pizza co and La Verne Pizza co, but this was definitely not the...
