I don't particularly care for the drive thru concept for coffee. The loss of the personal touch does not motivate me to return. I'm old school when it come to coffee; I don't do 50 dollar fancy shmancy drinks that take 10 minutes to describe to the employee...I just want a cup o Joe ya know...add my own sugar and cream. Man, can we not keep ANYTHING simple anymore. Had to get my sugar on the side; I use 2 1/2 packets raw). Had to get my half n half on the side (why would I expect - even want a stranger to get the right amount). Not only did I have to pull over and stop to add the condiments, but when I uncapped the cream it was bad, sour...and obviously so, as in curdled. A ten year old would have noticed as they poured it into the cup. I mean come on. Really? Kinda like driving thru a fast food joint and them giving you older colder fries than if you had walked in. Lazy? They just don't care? They feel they can get away with it? The customer won't come back just for that, right? But I digress...somewhat. Just steer away from this store, as well as ANY food business where employees behave disrespectfully toward both their employers and customers. Lastly, if Starbucks is listening (yea, right!), PLEASE fix the monster you've allowed yourself to become and give us simple coffee drinkers a separate line (or SOMEthing...ANYthing) so we don't have to endure the 2 or 3 people if front of us as they together take 10 or 15 minutes ordering their fancy specialty drinks (and don't get in a huff; it's not the customer I'm disparaging. It's Starbucks.) when ALL WE WANT IS TO GET OUR SIMPLE CUP OF COFFEE AND GET THE HECK OUT. Getting a cup of coffee has become much too tedious and time-consuming anymore....
Read moreI was driving by the Starbucks off Garey last night around 7:30 and picked up a coffee for me and my friend, after we got our coffee and jumped on the freeway to go home I grabbed the coffee to take a sip and the lid popped off and hot coffee poured all over my car onto me and my friend. I almost lost control of my car because it was hot and my hands burned. You would think that Staurbucks charging more than $7 for a coffee would hire staff that is more careful that they would make sure the lid of a HOT coffee is placed and sealed over the coffee cup to prevent this. I now have to clean my entire front driver seat, passenger seat and the center consul of the car because of this. I was so upset I couldn’t even drive back because I was already about 10 miles away when this happened!!! Don’t go to this Starbucks or any of the drive throughs cause they seem to be...
Read moreThis is the 2nd time they get my drink wrong, I asked for a venti toasted vanilla shaken expresso! I got a tall - cold brew. I told the baristas that was not the drink I asked for, he went back and changed the cup size and refilled my drink with a lot of ice ( same drink) 😤 I didn’t wanna be rude and since they seem to have an issue with understanding, I am writing a review instead. I would suggest paying more attention to customers instead of being on their phone or on personal calls while taking orders at the drive thru as this is what the guy was doing while taking my order.
