Title: A Cozy and Affordable Stay: Gary Motel in Pomona Review
Review:
During my recent trip to Pomona, I had the pleasure of staying at the Gary Motel and I must say it exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort, affordability, and convenience. If you're looking for a cozy and budget-friendly accommodation option in the area, this motel is definitely worth considering.
First and foremost, I was impressed by the warm welcome and exceptional customer service provided by the staff at Gary Motel. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any queries or requests I had throughout my stay. Their genuine hospitality added a personal touch to my experience and made me feel welcome from the moment I checked in.
The rooms at Gary Motel are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Despite being a budget motel, they offer basic amenities that ensure a comfortable stay. The bed was cozy, the linens were fresh, and the air conditioning worked effectively to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. Additionally, the room featured a television, a small refrigerator, and a microwave, providing convenience for storing and reheating snacks or meals.
Location-wise, Gary Motel is situated conveniently, with easy access to major highways and attractions. Whether you're visiting Pomona for business or pleasure, the centrally located motel makes it convenient to explore the area. From the motel, I found it easy to reach local restaurants, shopping centers, and entertainment venues within a short drive.
Pricing is another factor that makes Gary Motel an attractive choice for budget-conscious travelers. The rates are reasonable, especially considering the comfort and amenities provided. The affordability of this motel allows travelers to save money without compromising on the quality of their stay.
One improvement area I would suggest is the Wi-Fi connectivity. Although Wi-Fi is available, the signal strength in some parts of the motel was a bit weak, making it a bit challenging to stay connected consistently. However, if you just need basic internet access, it is still manageable.
Overall, my experience at Gary Motel in Pomona was positive, and I would recommend it to anyone seeking a cozy and affordable accommodation option in the area. The friendly staff, cleanliness of the rooms, and convenient location make it a pleasant place to stay for both business and leisure travelers. Whether you're stopping in Pomona for a night or a few days, Gary Motel provides a hassle-free and comfortable stay without...
Read moreI was expecting much more for what they were charging per night. I was charged $140 for a less than satisfactory cleaned room.. I already arrived and had no other choice but to stay there because of my schedule and meeting in the area.
I expected much more just because I read some of the reviews on Yelp and Google and was hoping for the best despite of what the pictures look like from the outside from the outside. I have found a less than satisfactory cleaned cleaned room setup. I had to request toilet paper roll for the bathroom, clean towels that still were not clean and had stains on them, and and I was pretty much stuck with gross feeling set up. The floors looked like they were mopped with dirty water because of the shoe prints. The bed sheet cover was stained in multiple spots. The pillows looked so flat that they were not very comfortable or welcome. The television was a nice flat screen but stained full of what looked like alcohol that had not been wiped down.
When I went to Kevin and his wife in the morning to complain and request some kind of refund, they took my phone number down and told me that Jay would call me back. I called back 2 days later and no one answered me. It is Wednesday and no 1 has yet to call me back. Speaking of calling, I tried to make a call out of the room from the phone there and it was not working. I had to call from my cell phone.. What's the point?
Motel 6 was a way better stay than this place. Very...
Read moreI stayed here several nights while visiting family in the greater Los Angeles area. Compared to other nearby facilities they offer a good price but it comes with drawbacks. Rooms were clean, but I had to change rooms as the heat was not working in the initial room. Amenities are very limited. No cups in the room, low quality small soap, low quality shampoo packet, no extra roll of toilet paper, no facial tissue, no coffee/tea service in the room. No daily room service, so if you run out, you have to request additional towels, tp, etc. They claim a free breakfast, but I don't think toast, coffee and water fulfill that claim. Twice I had to stop by the office in the evening as the electronic key card stopped working. Office personnel were pleasant enough. Parking is free but number of spaces limited (was not a problem when I was there). Above might be acceptable if known up front, but no daily room service not mentioned and breakfast claim very misleading. Though there was a door stop security feature, the deadbolt lock in one room did not work and sink towel bar gone in the other room. They appeared to working on upgrading individual rooms and internet access was...
