This place even exceeds 5 stars. Where do I begin with my review for Tanaechi.. I even wish I could give more than 5 stars, because my experience was that good! :) The service, atmosphere quality and overall experience were 10/10

Florence (the owner) is not only a professional, who will get you your clothes ON TIME, she is also very attentive and kind, she pays attention to detail, AND she is GREAT at what she does. (I have had experience with several tailors who were rude, have mixed up my measurements, given me my clothes late, or didn't sew exactly what I wanted) With Florence, I didn't worry about any of these things, thank goodness!

I came to her about 3 1/2 weeks in advance for my event, and when I called to ask if she could sew my clothes, the first thing she asked is "When do you need them by?" I appreciated this, because many tailors have taken my clothes without asking for the date... my problem with this is, if you don't know when I need it by, how will you know if you can get it to me on time??

I drove all the way from LA to Pomona (about an hours drive) to Tanaechi's. (It was that serious, and after my experience, I realized the drive was worth it!)

The atmosphere at Tanaechi's was very pleasant. When I came in, Florence talked with me about what I wanted. She was very attentive to my needs and took her time to sketch out a design that I wanted based on our conversation. I am very detailed when it comes to my clothes, and Florence pays attention to detail, which I really appreciate about her! I explained the outfit I envisioned to Florence, and she took it to another level, and exceeded my expectations. The dress was very beautiful, and I received an array of compliments on the dress at the wedding I attended.

How was the overall experience? My experience with Florence and her shop Tanaechi was Phenomenal. I am very particular about who I chose to sew my clothes. If I don't have my clothes sewn in Nigeria, I will take it to another tailor located in the Bay Area (Northern California), mind you I live in Southern California. It is that serious.

To anyone looking to have a custom made dress for your wedding party, or any important event, I highly recommend Tanaechi's. Don't sacrifice professionalism, timeliness, detail, elegance, fashion, style, etc. when having your gown and or dress made. Florence is one of the best, and this place is worth it. Florence is an amazing seamstress and ball gown maker. She created four dresses for me for my wedding and they were all fabulous. I got so many compliments. Her attention to detail is amazing and her designs are wonderful. What I loved most about Florence is that she knew when a dress needed a little more detail. For example, she creates a ball gown and added a sequenced belt to the gown along with peacock feathers. When I tried it on, I was flabbergasted. I looked like a queen. Even when you have no idea what design you would like, she whips out her notebook and begins to design what she thinks will be a fabulous custom design for you. Florence did an amazing job! She managed to do the impossible for me. I am a tomboy at heart , last time I wore a dress was 2007. So I was so amazed that on my very own wedding day, not only did I look good, I felt BEAUTIFUL! Such a dream come true.
