I placed an order with them through DoorDash. It was cancelled due to numerous drivers apparently going there and I’m only seeing the one assigned on my end. Just in terms of communication and trying to understand and get an update the OWNER comes On the phone shouting and being loud cutting my off mid sentence and I came on the phone in a neutral tone. Totally unprofessional her words”I don’t care if you’re a customer “ me understanding and trying to explain that I see how it would conflict with inventory . She continues to over talk me and before coming with a suggestion for pick up she continues to be loud and talk over. Yes the issue is with DoorDash but saying I’m sorry whiles you’re actively shouting to a person who contributes to the business is unacceptable. I love this resturant! The food is authenticate Bahamian food made fresh and extremely delicious. The couch is made beautifully and is extremely fresh. I always order the stew fish which is made to order and the fish used is fresh and seasoned deliciously. The stew itself is always hot and flavorful. The Johnny cake is just as good as everything else and I always end up needing a second one because it's so good. I can't tell you enough how consistent the food quality is and the flavors. Each time I visit I bring a new friend to experience the restaurant. The only con is the limited amount of space to each. Had no idea this little gem was tucked off in the heart of Pompano off MLK Blvd. Dade was the go to for anything conch till I found this place. The conch salad was so refreshing and full of nice chunks of conch. The fried conch was battered lightly and so damn tender. Definitely on point and will have to get again. Fresh and delicious, the large for the conch salad is a really good portion. Got the grouper fingers & fries for my jit and he loved it.
