Taco Bell

Dear cashier and Fritz at the drive-thru window. Today was my very first take-out/ drive through experience in USA - Yes, I am from South Africa. I unintentionally missed the part where you place the order. so I drove my car to the first open window to ask what I should do. As I asked if I should drive back around, i was interrupted by the gentleman (fritz??) and said I've already messed up and that he will get my order (that was placed online) I apologized humbly while he mumbled under his breath how very inconvenient this situation is... I said that I can easily drive around and do it right... he said no, wait. so I waited. the window closed. when the window opened. A female person said to me how inconvenient my mistake was. when I humbly apologized and said I wanted to correct it and its the first time at Taco bell. she talked down on me and said " well, it's not your first time at a drive through... I tried explaining that I wanted to correct it but the guy said I must wait... she interrupted me and said " Oh my god. I made a mistake in trying to engage in a conversation with you. " . I am so sorry you are having a bad day and that my little mistake made you so mad. i feel sorry if you have any subordinates under you... employees or children... The poor souls. Then, Fritz blames me for the lunch time backed up vehicles in the drive-thru line. Please learn some TACT. I certainly wont go there again.
