I'm from New York City and was visiting family in Fort Lauderdale. My hubby and I ordered the boneless spare ribs and pork fried rice. It was pretty good. The rice was right on and the ribs are cut in cubes which makes the meat a little chewier than desired and there sauce could have been a little richer. Chinese food in NYC is the best (yes I'm biased but it's pretty much a known consensus) so I'm a tough critic. My brother had the general tsos chicken and it was really good! It had a nice kick (we asked for spicy). His wife had the chicken lo mein which was not so great. It had an unusual taste to it not familiar to the delicious lo mein you can find in any NYC Chinese spot. I use NYC as a gauge since they advertise as "New York Style". Part of the order was 2 lo meins, noticed no white rice was given after guests showed up to eat the cold meal. “We no give white rice with lo mein”-really. Also asked for all dishes to be spicy, none were. Tried the dumplings & one was almost filled with a giant piece of pork/cat grisle. Asked for 6 chopsticks, none provided. Told them no condiments because they’ll just be thrown out, got a bag full. “Sorry, sorry, sorry”. Going back to our usual Chinese restaurant, Chef Choi’s Gourmet. They stopped online ordering so we ignorantly tried somewhere...
