Haven’t eaten at Chilies for quite some time, but took a group of friends in last evening and was sorely disappointed in our experience and we will not be returning any time soon, if ever. To be kind I cannot fault the wait staff, as our waitress was as accommodating as she could be in light of the circumstances. Unfortunately, the kitchen staff was less than accommodating and extremely poor in their presentation and quality of food they provided. To begin, Chilie’s atmosphere is load, which makes it extremely hard to have a reasonable conversation with those with which you are dining, but Chilie’s ability to provide their entrees to our group of ten in a timely manner was completely disastrous. My wife ordered a simple Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken and the dressing on the side, which the waitress correctly wrote down, but the kitchen staff could not correctly provide. When it was presented, my wife noted the error and asked to have it corrected, at which time the waitress cordially took the plate back to the kitchen for correction. When the corrected order was retuned, the Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken was essentially a plate of Romain lettuce with no Parmesan cheese, no crotons, no dressing and very little chicken. Our other members of the group also had problems with their orders and several received their entrees as much as 15 to 20 minutes after their spouse received their dinners and without their requested condiments or sides. In light of Chilie’s recent menu change and price increases you would think the management would make sure they were providing an exemplary customer experience, top form of product and service for the prices they are now charging. Again, this was not the wait staffs fault, but falls on directly of kitchen staff and management’s lack of proper over-site. This was truly a very disappointing experience and my wife and I nor our group of friends will ever be returning to our local Chilie’s...
Read moreMy husband and I stopped to eat at Chili's for an early afternoon meal while shopping in Ponca. We were set in a booth next to the bar. It was so noisy we could barely hear each other. The employees seemed distracted and were loudly talking and joking with each other and the tv seemed too loud. When I asked the waitress for a refill on my coke she said she would get it, then set my glass over the counter at the bar then took an order from the couple in the booth behind us and left. After waiting awhile I had to flag her down, she had forgotten about getting me a refill. We ordered the surf n tuff sirloin steak meals. Plus chips n dip with Quest. My husband ordered his steak well done with baked potatoe and I wanted mine medium with fries. When we got our meals the steaks were switched on the plates, No big deal.we just switched so we each had the right one. But the steaks were awful.. very tough and grisly, after cutting out the vehicle meat almost half was veiled with tough grisile.. The shrimp was good and the fries and backed potatoe were ok. The black beans we had as a side were mostly broth with few beans and since we only had a fork to eat with there was not much to eat. Also the queso we got with the chips was cold and skinned over. And now you have to ask for salt and pepper since they no longer keep those or any condiments on the tables. We have come to Chiles several times over the years and this was the worst experience we have ever had there. And the prices have really increased. Thev$27 for the meal was high but not unexpected. But $3.19 for a glass of coke, wow and the chips ( which were broken up) and queso were $10. We spent $75 for a...
Read moreIt was a bad experience from walking into front door until we got up and left our horrible meals setting on the table!!! When we walked in the host took forever to find a table. Then set us at a booth with a booth full of people right next to us, so much for social distancing. The menu was 1 long page with very few items so I asked if that was the full menu. I was informed to scan the box with my phone to see full menu which my Mom's phone won't even do. The waitress brought 1 full menu for both of us so I pulled up the menu on my phone. We ordered a little steak medium rare with avocado and asparagus. The plate looked so good with avocado and tomatoes on top of steak but it was barely cooked so we sent both our meals back to be cooked more. When the plate came back out everything that was on top of steak was scrapped off and was pushed up against the asparagus. The steaks were still very raw so I asked for manager who took forever to get to our table and only came after our waitress had to go get her AGAIN. The waitress did her job and very good at it also very sweet. The manager told us we didn't have to pay was about the only response we got from her!!!!! Will never eat at Chili's in Ponca City again! WE LEFT AND DROVE TO GARRETT WRANGLER TO EAT HAD A STEAK THAT WAS AMAZING THE STAFF WAS REALLY GOOD COMPANY, FAST SERVICE, AND DIDNT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT IF ANYONE WAS TO CLOSE TO US BECAUSE THEY HAVE UP PARTITIONS BETWEEN...
