as a Mexican myself I can say this was disappointing. I had the fish tacos my wife had the vegan tacos and my niece had the chicken strips. You only get Two tacos for the price. Vegan tacos were soggy not sure of it was from the the vegetables or the impossible meat we asked for cilantro cause it was suppose to come with the waitress returned with like 10 leafs of cilantro not kidding. The tacos came in flour tortillas wait for it that were cold but we were starving so decided to just eat. The fries were soaking in oil not cooked threw and no seasoning and for the HOT sauce if everything else was not already disappointed was TABASCO sauce. The worst part of it all was the end of visit. Check came we reviewed it and to our surprise we saw that we were being charged 1.90 for bar fees when we ordered a sprite a Coca Cola and and orange drink and to the total was included the tip which we didn’t mind but waitress couldn’t explain what the bar fee of 1.90 was for when the manager came out she couldn’t figure out what was going on. At this point we were so disappointed with service the food and to top it off the waitress had started to get an attitude. We know that 1.90 is nothing but it was just the point of it all . It being our first visit to Ponce and when we looked it up we saw it had good ratings so decided to give it a try. I just asked my family to just...
Read moreObviously take the 1 star review with a grain of salt as one singular bad dining experience. When we came in there was only 1 other table eating, mostly finished with their food. Nevertheless it took 15 minutes to get our food ordered. Some of our food was never delivered. Waitstaff nonexistent, no checking in for drinks, seeing if food was okay, refilling water or anything else. Total ghosts. After bringing up the fact that my meal still hadn't come out despite my dining companions having completely finished their meals I was told "well, burritos take longer than what everyone else ordered". Meanwhile tables that came in after us were getting their food so clearly it was just forgotten and it was easier for staff to lie rather than apologize. Don't get me wrong, the place wasn't full so staff were not overwhelmed, just lazy. It's a shame as the location is right on the famous Parque so will likely continue to get customers despite terrible service and...
Read moreNice location and great food, and as a bonus was open on Christmas Day! We ordered the vegan tacos and the vegetarian quesadilla. I was most pleasantly surprised with how flavorful the tacos were- the impossible meat was prepared very well and tasted fantastic, and the overall dish was perfect for the weather. The quesadilla was similarly tasty, however, the accompanying nachos were not good.
We also ordered a frozen margarita and pina colada, both of which were excellent (note: these come with whipped cream, so make a note to hold the cream if you want to keep it dairy free). Overall,...
