Captain Jay's Fish & Chicken — Restaurant in Pontiac

Shavon.. was one of the most kind and professional employees that for my first time slowly went through the entire menu of food that I was interested in because I was lost but food looked and was absolutely amazing..... I will be coming back on a continues basis as it's next door to the gym I work out at... I'm not sure if she is a manager but she should and I hope she becomes a manager type as here leader skills and makes customers feel cared about and important and delicious food good Lord... Captain Jay's did a outstanding job hireing a employee like shavon I will be coming back all the time because of her and of course the bomb food I'm more than satisfied with this restaurant and wish I would of known about shavon and captain Jay's delicious food... Awesome job keep up the outstanding work and keep operating the establishment like this and you will go one way that is up.... Thank you thank you for the great food and being so sweet and nice and I had great experience and I will make this a 1 a day or 2 days eating here love captain Jay's Pontiac ya you guys one...

I was just looking for some regular fried chicken… but this place was anything but regular. Not gonna lie it might be the best chicken I ever had in my LIFE. When they ask do you want the lemon pepper say YES 🙌🏼! Chicken was hot, crispy and juicy and sooo much flavor. Fries were perfect, the cole slaw was creamy AND tangy, even the hot sauce couldn’t be basic it had its own louisiana flavor. I ate some of my food and went back in to order more for my boyfriend cuz he’s not getting mine lol 😂 good as hell. I’m obsessed lol. Very clean and pretty interior and everyone was super friendly. PLUS they’re open late and good prices for how much food u get. 10/10 would recommend. I’m telling everyone about...

This new location is terrible! When I heard they were finally opening one in Pontiac I was happy to not have to go all the way to Detroit until now. This is my 2nd & last time coming to this location due to poor Customer Service. Food is never cooked how u asked & they always forget your food “items”. They rush you on the phone just to take other orders & then have the audacity to tell you thats all you ordered. When that’s all they HEARD. I would save yourself the trouble & go to the ones in the surrounding areas of “Detroit”. At least they listen. Should’ve never had a Captain Jays in Pontiac anyways… It’s a DETROIT thing not a Detroit...
