They are under new management. Very RUDEE! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Management before was very nice and friendly and accomodated to our needs. We had been coming here and we knew the portion sizes. They kept arguing with me and my husband and wouldn't reimburse our money when we weren't satisfied with Salmon serving. THEY CHARGED ME FOR 3 SMALL PIECES OF SALMON $21.99 WHEN BEFORE THEY GAVE 6 PIECES FOR THAT SAME PRICE. I TOOK IT BACK AND WANTED MY MONEY BACK BECAUSE I WASNT GOING TO PAY $21.99 FOR 3 LITTLE PIECES.Pleaseeee DO NOT GO HERE! If you are not satisfied with your food, you will lose money. If you dont like their food or serving size , they WILL NOT give you your money back. They argued and argued with me , didnt reimburse me my money , and TOLD ME AND MY HUSBAND NOT TO EVER COME BACK because we asked for a refund. Hey you lost a customer. Dont worry WE WILL NEVER COME BACK ANYWAYS!!! On top of that when we ate there , I was still eating and the man came and took my plate away. I was like huh!?? It wasnt even busy and they had just opened too. Food took toooooo long to come first of all and while the customers are eating they take their plates and utensils away and bring the boxes as if they want to get rid of you. Maybe these indians can learn a lesson from American restaurants in hospitality, attitude, and being courteous to customers and not use their indian attitudes to rip customers off of their money by giving small portion sizes for higher prices as they do in India. That kind of practices doesn't work here in US. I have been in restaurant and fast food industry for a loooooong time and no matter what CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT and you do whatever you can to satisfy that customer and you guys FAILED!!!! Just a warning to all customers and potential customers , Please think twice before you come here. They just lost a loyal customer and hopefully this google review helps to those thinking of going to this place. Our favorite now is Naan Appetit. Naan Appetit has fantastic lunch buffet everyday monday thru friday(Not sure about weekends) and they are literally 2 to 3 minutes from Persis. You certainly can't beat their hospitality and food and Lunch buffet. They have our business and our backing now. Best ever! Y'all must try Naan...

Another visit, another food coma unlocked!
We dove into Kadai Bhindi Masala and Cheese Butter Masala. The bhindi was shockingly good (yes, bhindi can be exciting!), but the Cheese Butter Masala… oh man, that dish stole the spotlight, the stage, and probably my heart too. A Gujarati gem that’s nearly impossible to find in the US — and here it tastes like it flew straight out of Ahmedabad with a first-class ticket.
The Chapati and Tandoori Roti were so perfectly made, they deserve their own fan club. Soft, fluffy, and just begging to be dipped.
Loved it, licked it, lived it. Of course, we’re coming back — resistance is useless at this point.
09.2025 Went again.
Oh boy — this time I went for the Dal Khichdi at medium spice level, and it absolutely blew my mind. Super authentic, total dhaba vibes — simple yet packed with flavor. We paired it with Gobhi 65, and let me tell you, no regrets whatsoever. Sure, it wasn’t like the one at Naan Appetite, but it still held its own and kept us happy.
Both dishes are winners, and from now on, at least one visit here isn’t complete without them. Consider it officially “locked in.”

Came back after 4 years. Owner changed so as the menu and taste.
Still a good option for Indian food.
We tried Paneer Bhurji, it was good but nothing outstanding. Kaju curry was creamy and tasty.
There Naan and Tandoori Roti have lot of butter in them.
Overall 3.5/5
2020 Another Fresh, New option to have Indian food in Pooler.
This place was started in Dec 2019 and it was almost full today, that shows that they must be doing / cooking something good 😋.
We tried Paneer Bhurzi at Medium spice level. Taste wise it was good. Next time will try it as Extra Spicy.
Malai Kofta : it was on a sweeter side even after ordering it At Hot level, but it might be because of white creamy sauce. Curry was more likely similar to Methi Matar Malai.
Lachhha Paratha : very well cooked and authentic.
Monika and owner Jatin are very welcoming and friendly. The way they were treating other tables shows that why people love them here.
They are changing there schedule and will be closed on Tuesday now...
Read moreMy husband and I visited Persis for the first time this morning (10:00 AM on 11/19/2019) and absolutely fell in love with their mango lassi—it was so good that we had to come back later in the evening to get more! But the mango lassi wasn’t the only standout—their food and service were exceptional.
Earlier in the day, I had just undergone a minor medical procedure, which left me very sedated during our meal. My husband had to guide me back to our car while he returned to settle the bill and box up our food. When we came back for dinner that same evening (around 8:10 PM), our server, Jose, and the young man at the cash register (I wish I had gotten his name) recognized me and went above and beyond. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for my well-being were heartwarming and truly unforgettable.
Now, let’s talk about the food! My husband and I were pretty hungry, so we ended up ordering quite a feast: • Appetizer: Sukka – I couldn’t stop eating this! It was absolutely delicious. • Main Dish: Dhaba Chicken – My husband ordered this because it’s a popular street food in India. He loved it and said it was fantastic. • Main Dish: Goat Biryani – My all-time favorite! I paired it with the goat curry, and the combination was perfect. • Main Dish: Goat Curry – Jose recommended the traditional curry for the goat, and it was an excellent choice—so flavorful! • Side: Garlic Naan – Super garlicky and so delicious. As a garlic lover, this was a huge win for me.
The restaurant’s atmosphere was clean and calm, with incredibly friendly and attentive staff. The food came out quickly, which was much appreciated because we were very hungry.
Persis has officially become my go-to spot for Indian food. I’m so thankful for their amazing service, caring staff, and unforgettable flavors. We’ll definitely...
