This is our first time visiting this location. My husband and I were super excited about date night. Confirmation email stated we should arrive 30 minutes earlier which we did. Class was supposed to start at 4:30 but it didn't start until 4:45, 4:50 or so. Was a bit irritated about it but what made me upset is the fact that the instructor spend so much time on the background but when it came time to do the bridge which is the most important part in the picture she rushed through it. She didnt even go over the small details in the brige and referred back to the free class where we can go to work on our picture like 6 times. I dont think is fair for me to attend the free class when I payed to do my painting right then and there from start to finish. Someone had to tell her that she didn't go over everything on the bridge. She went back and still rush to tell us how to finish it. Needless to say both out paintings are going to the trash. We...

She would paint her portion and go sit down and text on her phone (photo attached). Then from her chair she would say “looking good guys,” without having walked around to check on us. With previous Twist instructors I have had, we would play games as we waited for background paint to dry etc.
Furthermore, Meredith gave no direction on how to draw or hold the brush. For example, when it was time to draw flowers she just announced, “we’re going to make this into a flower at the top.” No technique on how to make lines and make the flower look like a flower. And she also didn’t offer techniques of how to hold each brush and make certain strokes, especially for smaller details.
Overall, I was disappointed. This comes after the session I wanted to attend earlier this month...
Read moreIn the past I have enjoyed Painting with a Twist to the fullest. Today I have experienced a very BAD EXPERIENCE with Jessica the owner and Jessica the manager. Jessica the owner hung up while I sharing something with her I could tell be the tone of her voice she was going to try and accommodate myself, two daughters and grand-daughter. Jessica you need to remember that without customers you don't have a business. Without a real personality, you will need front people. You may feel like this one customer doesn't mean anything to you. However, be careful how you treat strangers you never KNOW who they are.
I am SURE my daughters and I will find something fabulous to DO. You may feel you have arrived because WE have been supporting you and your EGO is out the door, don't hurt yourself. I definitely don't believe in spending my money where I am not WANTED!
To ALL THOSE I KNOW, becareful where you spend ...
