let me start off by saying that I do not typically leave reviews unless it is an extremely positive or an extremely negative experience. Today was the latter. My friend and I visited for brunch around 11:00 AM. At that time, the restaurant wasn't busy, and there were about four servers on the floor. We were greeted by one of the servers but seated in a section served by someone else. It took almost eight minutes for our server to come by and take our drink orders. After that, it took another five to seven minutes for her to return with our drinks and take our food orders.
Unfortunately, the silverware I received was dirty and needed to be replaced. Our server did not bring us new silverware, so I had to get up and get some from the bar myself. The food arrived relatively quickly; I ordered the raspberry lemon French toast, which was just okay. My friend ordered one of their hash dishes, which was actually really good.
For my drink, I chose hot tea, which came from regular tea packets. However, all of the tea packets that were in a paper wrapper were dirty. I ended up pulling them out of the container and placing them on a plate for the staff to dispose of, as they were no longer safe for consumption.
The bathrooms also needed better cleaning. It smelled like pee in there
When we were ready to leave, we couldn't find our server. Instead of waiting for her to bring our check, we decided to go to the front. By the time someone came to ring us out, our server was still nowhere to be seen. I can't remember her name, but I know it...
Read moreToday was the second time we have visited this location. The first time we came we came on a weekday. The place wasn’t very busy and we were sat outside. We waited at least 15 minutes before I went in to let someone know we haven’t given a drink order yet. We hadn’t even been greeted by our server. Everyone I spoke with was very nice and a server that wasn’t serving our section came and took our orders and served us the rest of the time. Food came quickly and was okay. We were given a coupon for another visit.
So, today we returned. Obviously it is Easter Sunday so it was busy which is fine. We were seated quickly and that’s about all that was quick. A couple that sat after us was served drinks before us. Took 15-20 minutes for any server to come ask us for a drink order which we also placed our food order at that time. A table of 3 sat about 30 minutes after we sat and they received their food well before we received our food. A different server came to our table to ask us what we had ordered. She said our server asked her to do this as the order has been “misconstrued or whatever” 🤣 we didn’t see our server again until she brought us our order about 40 minutes after we ordered it. We also never received the creamer we asked for and just grabbed some from another table. We told the girl at the front where you pay what has happened on both occasions and she was very apologetic and pleasant. She offered us more coupons, but we politely declined. Read moreI was very specific about my allergies. When my food came out, it was all wrong. When i told them it had to be remade, they took it back, and we could hear them talking about the plate very unhappily. When it came back out about 2 minutes later, it was the exact same omelet. I asked if it had been remade or just replated, and the reply was well they told me they remade it. I said it's the exact same egg (it had a specific swirl pattern and still had the 1 green pepper in the same spot). it has not even been long enough to have re cooked anything they took it back unhappily, and when the manager came out, he was snarky and said they understand and remade it already, but they did it again. Mind you, this time, it had been over 15 when they brought it out. I said we could hear the conversation, and they had not. They can kill someone doing what they did. He was visibly and verbally agitated but still playing manager. He took my order off the bill. However, that was not the concern. They need retraing about how allergies are handled. If you can't do it, just say that and dont offer what you can't provide. We dont enjoy not being able to eat the other food way more than you discontent of having to work around the allergy. I appreciate the discount to make it appear as though you corrected your mistake, but your attitude towards the customer needs work. Your staff needs to be retrained. Our allergy inconvenience to you is our every day life we hate it way more...
