Mellow Mushroom Pooler — Restaurant in Pooler

This is a splurge for me. I love the Great White pizza, omggggg and the bruschetta. Toasted bread with feta cheese, balsamic glaze and tomato's. Sign me up. I need to get off the pizza menu the next time I go. But pizza is honestly just a masterpiece in itself,so trying to go there and not eat pizza seems wrong. Maybe I'll do a hoagie. I know that also trying to go there during the weekend Is like a workout in itself seeing as the parking lot is always packed full. So go early or go the weekdays and if you're trying to drink after a Sunday i would hold off. That's their busiest drink day, one of the employees mentioned, after a friend was trying to get a drink and after the 4th order they had what he asked for. So fyi on if you're interested in drinking. The waitresses are always super nice and we don't ever have a problem honestly. Or maybe we just don't stress too much since things happen, and we understand the retail/restaurant industry. Anyway back to the point, look it's always good food, the staff is always great and it's kid friendly. Because who doesn't love seeing Spiderman hanging from the ceiling or a minion, penguin or some other character they replace outside. There's a transformer at the front desk and movie characters all over the walls. It reminds me of a food court with all the chatter in the background with music playing. It smells like heaven and on top of that even though you might spend a dollar or two or twenty. Okay like 4 adults and a kid with a shared large pizza, two appetizers and drinks + an alcoholic one and a kids meal was like $50-60 bucks. Idk we split the check.

All I can say is wow. This place was one of the best pizza places I have ever been to. We were stopping here because we wanted to eat before the movie that way we could save some money by not buying food from the movie theater. As you can see from the pictures the food looks and taste so good. The small pizza is what my boys ordered and it came with all the meats on it. When they put it down in front of them their eyes got so big because of all of the toppings that was on it. The bacon was huge and it was the first thing I saw on the pizza from the other side of the table. As they picked up the pizza the cheese pulled up and the meat stayed in place as they put it in their mouth. It was now me and my husband's turn to cut into our calzones. We also got it with all of the meats. When I cut into the calzones the cheese just pull apart. As I lifted it up to my mouth for the first bit the ricotta cheese was the first thing I tasted. The meat was stuffed inside of the calzone. The crust was nice and flaky too. The service was spot on. The waitress knew we were trying to catch a movie so she made sure we were out on time. I requested the order #19782733669056518 at 7:13 pm on 17July 2023 and was told it would be ready at 7:31 pm. I called when I arrived at 7:45 and the order was still not ready. I called and the associate (female) said they would be out. I called back at 7:56 pm and another associate (male) said that the food was ready and they’d be out. Instead a rep came out and said the order was given to the wrong individual. They didn’t apologize they just seemed to have a nonchalant attitude about about the situation. I called back and asked who the manager on duty was and the female associate said she couldn’t reveal that information. I then asked if I could speak to the manager and I was told that he was busy and she could only take a message. I then came inside and I spoke to someone who wouldn’t reveal his name but looked like the kitchen staff instead. My issue was never resolved so I ended up canceling my order. It was the customer service that made me second guess my order. Any group of employees at an establishment that would go out their way to disguise the identity of a manager may not have the best food handling practices.
