Got to my hotel early so I had to find something to do until my room was ready. Decided to have lunch and felt like Mexican food. I found Guerrero on Google maps. Only 0.3 miles from where I was. Drove over to give it a try. I ordered a draft dos Equis with lemons. One of the waitresses brought chips and salsa for me. I ordered the combination of chalupa, chili rellenos, and enchilada with chicken. Everything was delicious. The chili relleno was a little spicy for me but tasted very good. All of the staff was very friendly and quick to deliver my food. I really like this place and may order more before I leave tomorrow to take home. The atmosphere was quite nice. Lots of tables and booths available. Nicely decorated which is hard to tell from the outside since the restaurant is located in a strip mall. I wasn't going to let that fool me and I'm glad I gave it a chance. I enjoyed the food immensely. The chalupa was wonderful. I see both good and bad reviews here. I can only assume that people have very different tastes. This food was pleasing to me.

This a small Mexican restaurant near the I-95. The wait Staff is in the early 20's. Since we were traveling to Florida, we have it a try. My Mexican chicken soup was tasty, once I got it. My wife ordered veggie enchiladas which was small but tasty. The problem was that they brought my rice and salad out at the time they brought my wife's order. Since the waitress did not specify that it was part of my soup, my wife began eating it. When my soup came out I asked for my rice, salad and tortilla, our waiter told me that the plate my wife was eating from was mine, and the tortillas are still on their way. We asked for more rice and were served and charged for another side order of rice. When I asked for a couple of slices of Jalapeno, he brought me a full side order of it. The good part is that they server Dos XX and Modelo from draft for a very reasonable price. For the price we paid for two people, I expected more from atmosphere to cost price value and service label. The wait Staff could be more friendly and attentive.

Guerrero's is THE best Mexican food in the city of pooler and that's a fact! Its owners, the Guerrero family, runs the place themselves and they are wonderful at what they do. They greet you personally and professionally. The salsa and cheese dip is AMAZING! Seasoned perfectly (I'm picky about that with salsa lol) and the adult beverages are made correctly and as youd want them to be. The prices are unbelievably good for the quality of everything they serve. I have never had anything I didnt like there which is weird as I'm not a huge Mexican food lover. However, the entire vibe and great tastes of their food and drinks has made me start to crave it. Anytime we are in town and have time, we like to stop and eat here and have a great time! Great great food and fun!

😡😡My daughter is still sick three days later from the small bite she took. 😡😡😡 What turned into my all time favorite Mexican restaurant four years ago became the last time I get food from them. I ordered through the delivery app. The first time the driver dropped my order off at my neighbors house. She wasn’t home until an hour later and we through it away because it had sit in the hot sun for that long. I called delivery.com right after it showed delivered, but I didn’t get it. They asked me if I wanted a refund, or redelivery. I of course said redelivery because my daughter and I were really craving it. They told us it could be up to two hours and I said that was fine. Well when we received our replacement meals that’s when it went down hill and went downhill fast. Both of the meals were ice cold, vegetables were still hard and crunchy, guacamole already turned a slimy brown, my daughter’s chicken smelt like rotten eggs. My meal definitely did not taste like it always does. I took two bites and it was disgusting. I always put my leftovers in the refrigerator and eat them cold the next day. They are still very good. The cold pitiful, nasty food was atrocious. Sadly, I was going to bring my large extended family here when they arrive in July. I told them how great it was. Luckily, it happened now and not then. I have no idea what went wrong, but it was something. The two-three little bites my daughter and I had have had our stomach queasy. Delivery.com said they would talk to the manager. I assume we will end up spending over $30.00 on inedible food. I guess live and learn no matter how long you have been going...

I was actually traveled to this spot for the korean food next door. They were closed on tuesdays and i needed to make miles. So i hopped in to grab some food. Let's start with the chips and salsa. Like 99% of mexican restaurants. Corn tortillas chips. I dislike stale, crumble, little handful of chips. Here i received fresh, still warm chips. not soggy with oil. Not burnt. Not stale. They make their own chips and none of mine were screwed up. Think about that. when was the last time you went to a mexican restaurant. And you were given good chips. I got that here. Many chain restaurants screw that up as well. This place isnt big and it sure had that mom and pop place feel. Now for the salsa. Good. I know how they made it. and it looked fresh. i worked briefly for an (on the border) chain. Salsa and chips were similar. Nothing odd about the salsa either.

Meal, well i normally get stuff like chimi chicken. Or fajita two meats. I picked up a couple street tacos. Which were good. And a chicken breast meal.

Excellent. Food. The wait staff. Well I was taken care of pretty fast. with out people jostling me hovering or feeling like i was being watched. or ignored.

I wasn't really in the mood for mexican food. Next time i am in savanna Georgia. i will return here even if i have to drive out of route, To do so. Getting this good of an experience. Makes it...

Guerrero's Mexican restaurant is a staple in the community. They've been around for a long time, and I really enjoy their food. Unfortunately, I haven't sat down to eat there in a really long time. It had nothing to do with the food or the quality of service; it was just out of sight, out of mind. Various new restaurants that popped up over the years seem to have taken my attention off of this jewel. However, I came in today because I had a 30-minute gap in between clients. This allowed me the opportunity to sit and enjoy a meal. Upon entering the building, I was greeted by Antonio with a smile and a hearty hello. He remembered me; that was cool by itself. I sat down to a delicious basket of hot chips and delicious salsa (the best in the city). My server Angel did a great job, very nice and courteous. I ordered the Birria Tacos and Lengua Street Tacos. It came with rice and beans on the side. My meal came to the table, and the food was piping hot. Birria Tacos are a very popular item now but done the Guerrero way they are Amazing! The street Tacos were outstanding as well. I was thoroughly impressed and extremely satisfied. If you haven't been to Guerrero's in a while or you haven't tried it, come try it or try it again for...
