Wow what a difference a year can make... and it's not a good difference. We arrived last night and after having reservations for at least 4 months in advance and calling earlier in the day to advise of our late arrival the young lady couldn't find my reservation. When she finally said she found it she then advised me it would be $146.. I asked why my rate would almost double, we are only there 1nt and should be. around $86.. She then says well she can do $99 plus tax.. So I again tell her that rate is higher than what I confirmed and I proceeded to pull up my email confirmation. At that point she says well the lowest I can go is $86.35 an that's with taxes included, how ironic since that's the exact amnt my confirmation says I would be paying. I then ask her if she needs my credit card an she says no because as of 6p the room was already billed to the card on file. I'm still trying to figure out if the room was already charged, why was she trying to charge me a higher rate? Fast forward to the room. I paid for a nonsmoking king, we walk in and have 2 doubles and the room smelled like stale cigarette smoke. There were also burn holes in both top comforters. The bathroom was disgusting, the tub has black mold on the cracked corking and there were terrible patch jobs on the wall which was poorly painted over. This is room 321. I was sick when we got to the room and walking into this only added to the frustration of not feeling well. I didnt bother to complain because they were sold out an so was every hotel for miles. I did however wish we had driven our own car to Savannah because I definitely would have just drove back to Atlanta rather than sleep here. I'm leaving my original review up just so people know that I did initially give a fair review to this place, but we won't be returning. I won't lie when I booked this property I was prepared for the worst.. I never stay in Motels or any hotel where the room doors are outward facing. When we opened the door to the room we were shocked! It was way above what we expected! I mean granted yes it's still a motel but for a motel it was a nice room! I appreciate the upgrades they've done. The bathrooms could still use a bit of work but you get what you pay for an in this instance it was a great value. It was St. Patty's wknd and the room was $80 with tax.

Just... no. Have you ever watched a move where the main characters strike out on their own, only to find out that they are soon broke and need to find a place to sleep the night. So inevitably they find a creepy little hole in the wall place. This place is the broke homeless cousin of the hotel in that movie. I literally watched a roach get frustrated because it had to wait for another, fatter roach to finish crawling out of the hole in the black mold in our bathroom. Our shower was Frankensteined together with screws and tissue paper, and not a single door, drawer, or cabinet worked properly. The bathroom door didn't even close. The parking lot smelled like the ice pile behind an Asian supermarket, and the front desk has 3 security cameras for one register. The staff was great but we spent our night taking bet on what would be our end: violent revolt of the black mold roach squad, or shot a a bystander to the 2am shouting match, during our contact high hallucinations from the smoke drifting through the wall. All while waiting for our TV to "warm up". Needless to say, we all slept on top of the comforters, hope these bites on my arms go away soon.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! The staff is just as bad as the room. Bunch of cockroaches! We stayed in our room for less than 5 minutes and within that time span I killed a cockroach in the bathtub, and the toilet leaked from the bottom seal all over the floor when flushed. Went straight to the front desk for a refund and the “very professional” manager on duty tried to refuse giving us a refund. We had to call the police because she was so ridiculous and unprofessional. A refund was supposedly given after the officer arrived (who also warned us to not stay there because of the trash and crime reputation of the hotel). I’m pretty certain the manager didn’t actually submit the refund, but you can guarantee that there will be a stop payment on that transaction. I just hope this review saves someone else from having to do two things they’ll forever regret, 1. deal with the idiotic sketchy unprofessional staff, and 2. Stay in this roach infested oversized toilet they want to call a hotel. Thank you, come again….I think not.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE!!! We entered the lobby at 11pm to check in for a reservation we had made on line just a short time before. When we entered there was no employee present and a small child laying in the floor behind the desk with toys everywhere. We stood there for a bit and could hear people talking but no one ever came out. There was a sign to call a certain number to reach someone. I called the number and it rang and rang right at the desk but no one still came (and I heard them mention for someone to grab the phone). I finally called out loud asking if anyone was around. The lady finally came out of a different room with another older child and a baby. She did not seem remotely friendly in the least. She asked what she could do for us and seemed bothered when I said we were checking in. If I hadn’t already booked the room and paid we would have definitely left. She had the older child make our key for the room and just handed it to us. We had to ask where the room was so we knew which direction to go. The hotel itself looked sketchy from the outside with a few disabled cars in the parking lot, a few random people walking around. The room initially looked “ok” when we walked in. After closer inspection the shower and sink area was definitely in need of repair. Once we shut the light off to try and sleep you could see the exterior lights coming in all the way around the door. The bed was extremely old but we just needed some sleep to continue on our trip. After about an hour my husbands severe allergies began to really give him problems and he started coughing non stop. He got up to use the bathroom and seen roaches crawling. We immediately got up and left as fast as we could. He quit coughing about 15 minutes after we left. Needless to say there was definitely mold or something in the room that caused his allergies to go crazy. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE!!! Needless to say it is 4:30 am now and we have had no sleep and we are driving to our...

I stayed here and it was the worst experience. We ended up checking out 2 days early and trying to contact corporate for a refund. We called a day ahead of when we were supposed to arrive to ask if we can check in early and I even pay for early check in (like other hotels) and I explained we have 13 hours of driving left and we might be early. The lady told us "oh i don't know, just drive here and ask when you get here" so we did. Arrived 8 hours before check in like we told her and apparently not one room was available! The guy we walked into at the desk was face timing on his Phone and he approached us with " do you need something" .. he was rude. He sent us away. So fine we left and drove around AGAIN until 2:30 and still no room, so at 3 we FINALLY get a room, and when we walk in, it was filthy, the floors were full of dust, the previous ice cube container was still in the fridge with water, the toilet literally had poop all over it, we had to wear socks just to walk around the room. Then for the towels, we had one big towel for two people and two used toilet papers. When we went to ask for more the poor girl st the counter didn't know where anything was because they were out. She offered to look around and bring us something, she later came to us with a used toilet paper roll and again only ONE towel. We tried to stick it out but the last straw was the guys standing out on the balcony by our door drinking and leaving there door open and every time we would walk in or out they stare us down and look into the room. Upon showering someone was tortmenting my dog through the window and wall to to the point he hid under the table, with the loud banging and taping on OUR glass. At that moment we packed up and took off to another hotel. We have pictures of the place, the poop on the toilet, the dirtiness of the floor and proof we left to hotel where we felt more safe. Please do not stay here, it's not clean and...
