Idk where to begin, we placed an order online tonight and it said 30 minutes so we waited and then went to pick up. We get there and they say they can’t find our order… asked my husband for the confirmation which was on my phone so he had to call me and get it then all of a sudden they “found it” so needless to say we waited 30 minutes to pick it up and then we get there and they haven’t even started making it because nobody checked to see if an online order was placed. So we waited an additional 20 minutes while there for our food, the guy gave my husband 10% off (wow! Such a gesture! 🙄 only $3.90 off), never even apologized or anything. Husband gets home, we orders the orange chicken, the crispy honey chicken and the 4 fried dumplings. The dumplings weren’t fried, they were soggy and partially steamed, and literally fell as part picking them up and they taste like a burnt frying pan. They had black burnt bits on them too. Both chicken meals were absolutely disgusting, SUPER SUPER bland! I mean they taste like water. Thank goodness there’s was red & green peppers because that was the ONLY flavor I tasted. It was so bad we threw them both in the trash. We won’t be back, that’s for sure! I could have looked past the extra wait time and the mishap of the whole order thing IF the food was actually worth it, but sadly it lacked everything and the prices are steep for what you’re getting. I’ve never had Asian food so bland in my life, usually Asian food is packed full of flavor and some of the most delicious foods out there. Do yourself a favor and spend your...
Read moreI have one word for WildGinger...Fantastic. WG is in a great spot, it has plenty of parking(which in Pooler can be a real problem) which it does share with other places however there is more than enough. The atmosphere is cozy but separated enough that you don't have to listen to the conversations at the table next to you. I ordered the Tokyo mule. I could see the gentleman at the bar as he was making my drink and there was a lot involved with making it. The drink isn't something that I would normally try, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. We ordered the crispy wanton tacos and the Lat Mai Kai for appetizers. My wife doesn't do spicy very well and she said they were spicier than she likes, but she did eat 2 of them. I had the third one, it did have a little spice to it but it didn't last long(which my wife also said later). The Lat Mai Kai on the other hand is spicy, it tells you in the description and it is a flavorful spicy. I got it with the tofu, it reminded me of a dish that I used to get at my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Savannah. For her meal, my wife ordered fire-braised short ribs with pineapple fried rice. There was no spice to this dish but it is packed full of flavor. The short ribs were fall of the bone tender, and the pineapple fried rice was an excellent addition. I ordered Dan Dan noodles, and again it stated that it was spicy and it was true to that. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the sauce was packed with a spicy flavor that I had never had before. We will definitely be going back, and we can't wait to try other things...
Read moreThe food is pretty good. The decor looks nice when you walk in but then we were seated at a booth that has the benches ENTIRELY too far from the table. I was able to stand up and walk out of the booth when we left- no scooting required. I was extremely uncomfortable the whole time sitting at the edge of my seat and leaning over the table. The tables are extremely heavy so we tried to move it but my husband almost flipped the booth seat trying to push the table. You could just lean back and lounge but then you can’t hear a word being said at the table. It’s also very loud inside. The staff provided okay service. Just okay. If you’re looking for warm and friendly look elsewhere. A woman who seemed to work there but not very hard (often sitting at the bar) was just staring at the customers, myself included. Once in a while her and another staff member would point directly at me and then maybe the server would come over. Not exactly rude but certainly made me uncomfortable. And then there was the milk! This gallon of milk sat out on the counter for at least 30 minutes, and it was RIGHT in front of their pos system behind the bar. So people definitely saw it while reaching right over it to use the pos but no one thought to put it away for half our time there. So if the drink menu says it has milk in it don’t order it. I don’t foresee coming back here unless I find out they at least fixed the furniture and put up...
