I ordered on the kiosk. Paid my ticket entered a table tent number and took a seat as directed. I was on lunch with limited time.
I waited patiently as customer after customer walked in and out while I waited. My order was only a McDouble and French Fries so not a special order or time consuming. After a long wait I went to the pick up area and finally attracted the attention of an employee. I pointed out that the bag with my ticket number was clearly sitting in the bagging area and yet order after order was going out while my bag still sat there. The young lady said something to the manager who was standing nearby. He said they were waiting on the fries. So I stepped back for a minute only to see the manager look at my bag and then grab three other orders and head out the door. Then he came back and started bagging other orders. I had to be a bit ugly and ask him what he was doing exactly. He looked at me as if I were crazy. And then looked at my ticket on the bag once again. Finally. After a wait of nearly 30 minutes they gave me my bag. The key issue here was they are timed on getting drive thru orders gone. So that is the focus. I as a kiosk customer was apparently something of an oddity since I actually came inside and did all the work. Key take a way here. McDonalds needs to step up their entire game. If I could let everyone know one thing it is that customer service regardless of the timer at the drive thru has to be your focus. I learned a lesson. DONT go...
Read moreThey had offered a new carrier when I originally got our food but, I declined saying I had a bunch of these (the cardboard two cup carrier with handle).I didn't make it past the first three parking spots going out to the truck when this happened. I walked back in, showed them the broken carrier and pic (which they didn't really look at), and said I should have taken them up on the new carrier. They immediately said to remake them and started putting them in a Styrofoam carrier. I said those are harder to carry. The one that told the cashier to remake, pulled out the DoorDash style box and bag combo and they gave me that. ❤ THIS is Customer Service! Thank you for making the start of our day...
Read moreThe tables and floors were constantly being sanitized. It was a very clean safe engiorment. The workers and people around were friendly and very polite. If the food was better it would've been a perfect environment. The Mcnuggets and fries tasted like they were about to expire, and the texture of the food was very dry and hard. The burger buns were stale and hard. Since its shamrock shake season, I was disappointed with those too. They didn't have much shamrock syrup in them. The shamrock flavor was very faint. It had more of a whip cream texture. The other McDonald's in Poplar Bluff were a lot better to me. I won't be going back to this one, specifically in the Poplar Bluff Walmart...
