Gross. So we're sitting around and for the 3rd time in an hour a Wendy's commercial comes on. We're like, it's a sign, and that new bbq sandwich looks good. Drove there, put in my order, and literally, it was 17 minutes in the line. Never had to pull up before at Wendy's. Guy brings it out, no free frosty certificate or even a sorry.
Got the order, it's about 7 minutes to home so i reach in for some drive fries - dads and moms you know what i mean- and immediately remember why we don't eat this crap. They're like soft mush, almost like mashed potato consistency. At least i can look forward to my sandwich.
At home, everyone but my wife had what they ordered. Somehow our 6 dollar sandwich got replaced with a 1 dollar spicy chicken with cheese. I mean here's the receipt and there's the nasty chicken sandwich. Not listed anywhere! And no peppercorn mushroom melt to be found.
Anyway i told the wife to tough it and eat it anyway, I'm not driving back up there. She gets all huffy and goes back herself, gets back home and the new sandwich is stupid too, has a peice of square meat that measures 2 by 2 inches. Tastes horrible. And to top it off, now I'm in the doghouse with the wife for spending 50 bucks on fast food that was poorer quality than we could have gotten for 20 at mcds!

Read moreWe have never had a successful TMobile Tuesday freeby from Wendys. First, a nice manager would help us. Now, I guess, they just don't care anymore. There was a clerk at the counter who said she couldn’t help us. She went to the food line and asked if any of the three managers would help us. She came back and said they were really slammed and they’d be out soon. We were the only customers in the store and there were two cars in the drive-thru when we walked inside. Then people started coming inside with their bags from drive-thru to get their orders fixed properly.. I went to sit down to wait but couldn’t find a clean table. Finally, an employee came over and looked at our app and said she’d never seen one do that before and she’d send the manager over as soon as she was free. Waited and waited and waited. No help and people with bags of food still coming inside to get their order fixed the way they wanted it. Gave up and am giving up on this Wendy’s. Not sure if all of them have this kind of problem or just ours. Wendys, don’t offer rewards if your people don’t know how...
Read moreThis is two time in a row that the customer service here has been atrocious. The woman running the register this morning was beyond slow. My wife and I along with four other customers literally stood in line for several minutes while she just stood behind the register staring off into space. She never greeted us and just seemed out of it while taking our order. After we received our cups, my wife noticed that there was no unsweetened tea in the dining room. When she brought her cup to the counter and asked the woman to fill it from the drink station there, the woman just walked away. My wife had to ask her three times before she finally got her an unsweetened tea. To top it off, my side order of cheese sauce for my fries was lce cold. Needless to say, we will not be back anytime soon. That's unfortunate because we used to enjoy popping in once in awhile for...
