my partner and i witnessed a group of older humans wearing synchronized outfits and playing loud music inside this establishment. they were there when we got there, so i did not think it would be polite to ask them to leave. as luck would have it, we took our drinks outside and talked over the music that the humans working must prefer to play when no one is around. perhaps that music had also left with a drink to go outside, to avoid the matching long-lived mens playing their electric guitar and electric bass over bombarding drum sounds. having said that, we listened long enough for me to think "i kinda like this, they match their suits to hide the mismatched tempos and chords" and lots of other women there seemed flustered by these...

This was exactly the vibe we were looking for tonight and the drinks and service were superb! Loved the atmosphere and decor and was ready to order round 2 when everything changed. The bar allowed a patron to walk in and change the vibe by allowing the TV to be turned on and sound UP loud to watch a sporting event. You could no longer even hear the music due to the TV. This IS NOT a sports bar! Plenty of those in town if that’s what you are looking for. We were hoping for something a little bit different. My wife and I stopped by The Palm Social Club during our Labor Day trip for a kid-free night, and it was a great local spot! We loved the laid-back beach vibe of their patio, especially the reclining yard chairs – perfect for relaxing. While we didn’t particularly love the band playing that Sunday night (probably because most tourists had headed home), we still enjoyed the atmosphere. The bartenders were super attentive, coming outside to check on us and refresh our drinks, which we really appreciated. We’ll definitely be back, but next time on a Friday or...
