Gotta hand it to Coach's... darn good breakfast! We stopped in about noon on a Sunday, not breakfast time for sure, but Coach's pounds out breakfast until 2:00pm everyday! It was great! Service awesome (Thanks Rokki!), the foo was delicious, and even Coach's signature salsas were a hit with this crew! BTW... Coach's serves bigtime burgers and lunch fare after 11AM! Our first visit to Coach's, and the Yelpers' guidance was mixed. We're here "off season" so not really sure what to expect! Coach's out-performed our expectations... The place is so fun and cool, if you know anything about sports. I don't mean being a fan, but if you know anything about sports, there are memories on the walls... football, baseball, boxing, car racing... you know it, the sport is represented here! So fun to see all the memorabilia! Next, the food... we kept it simple with a Coach's Original (an egg, sausage, biscuit, toast) and a Double Play (two eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausages, toast)(I had the Double LOL) and Rokki treated us with a side of a biscuit and gravy as a sampler... all of the food was off the charts good... yeah, a breakfast diner kind of place, I can only imagine how crazy the wait is "in season!" The entire experience was so enjoyable... mostly locals dining this AM, but we fit right in. PS Coach's in-house salsas are awesome too. We'll likely go by for lunch this week for a burger/fry lunch combo and grab some of the salsas. Definitely and HIGHLY recommend Coach's Island Grill for a great breakfast and/or lunch in Port A ... get you some of that!!!

This place is an experience you will not want to miss. Been here three times now in as many weeks to give it a real test and see if it was for real. So far everything I have ordered has been great. The Philly CheeseSteak is to die for, fries are good, breakfast sausage fantastic, bacon , grits are just right, biscuits fantastic and gravy for biscuits and gravy is savory. Bacon crispy, burgers great, all you can eat pancakes with plenty of flavor, and so on. On the breakfast buffet if you don't want scrambled eggs they will cook your eggs to order. Service is good. But then again with 6 tables one waitress assisted by the owner that is understandable. Owner is always trying to please ... unless you want to add a garnish to his Philly Cheesesteak -- then watch out. My wife asked for mayo and he wanted to know "what for." And said the Philly didn't need mayo. She wanted it for her fries and I swear if she wanted it for the Philly she would not have ggotten it. But he is right ... it is perfection. Atmosphere... well Coach has ever inch of the walls covered with some kind of sporting memorabilia. Jerseys, Helmets, Superbowl Rings, Autographed Pictures, gloves, collectors card sets, etc. You could spend hours trying to take it all in. But there are only 6 tables. 2 Warnings ...#1 It looks like a whole in the wall on the outside but it is worth going in. #2 He closes at 2:00 PM. so you have to go early.

A sports team themed restaurant that celebrates its favorite teams both in sports and politics. A very popular spot, and one of few open before 8am. By the time we arrived at 8am, there was a waitlist of a few parties ahead of us. Make sure to sign in at the podium. Once we got seated at 8:30am, service was incredibly sweet and working their tails off. Coffee and drinks came pretty quickly, but it took about 30 min to get our food. Thankfully, my son was very entertained by the little basketball arcade in the corner, and the waitress kept our coffee fresh. The food itself was great. The chicken fried steak had good texture and a tasty chopped sausage link (not breakfast sausage) white gravy. Hashbrowns were a perfect mix of crispy and soft potatoes. I ordered over medium eggs but got over easy, which is fine for me. Medium eggs are hard to get right. My wife enjoyed her simple Coach’s Breakfast Special. My son devoured his chocolate chip pancake. The kid’s pancake breakfast comes with bacon, eggs, hashbrowns and an orange juice. Overall, kitchen was a bit slow but put out good food. The prices were very reasonable too.

So good we came back and brought friends.

I'm a big breakfast lover and came in looking for breakfast before hitting the beach for a friends 50th bday. Place has some amazing sports related items all over the wall, along with alot of Americana which I appreciated (if your patriotism is questionable...eat outside or go elsewhere less you might hurt you feelings). Small place, just my kind of establishment, smelled awesome, greeted immediately by a friendly face, and got a seat without a wait.

Lots of great options on the menu to choose from. I wanted eggs, but then I read "famous" Cheese Steak...I mean who wouldn't be intrigued by that, and who doesn't like cheese...and steak...so I was torns. I wanted eggs, but this famous cheese steak was calling my name. So I ask Tiffany if they could throw a couple of eggs into my cheese steak and to my surprise she smiled and said want some hashbrowns in their too?

And thus "The Anthony/The Henry" Breakfast cheese steak was born. Coach came out and was pumped that someone took his food science and added to it, instead of removed something or tried to substitute something. He was very please, and Tiffany was happy to take the order.

Food was excellent! The pancakes the lady got were equally delicious. Price was fair, and overall the experience was great. So great, we came back a couple days later and brought about 8 of our friends from the Bday, some of which also got "The Anthony/The Henry" and were equally pleased.

This place has all the right ingredients. If you're in the area stop by and see them. Ask about the secret menu.

Thank you Tiffany, Coach, and the rest of the staff at Coach's,...
