Roberts Park in Port Aransas is a fantastic spot that offers something for everyone, making it a favorite destination for locals and visitors alike. Conveniently located by the ferry, the park serves as a vibrant hub of activity and entertainment, especially during the holiday season. One of the highlights is the festive atmosphere during New Year's Eve, with a fireworks display that lights up the night sky, creating unforgettable memories. The drive-through lights and Christmas display are another seasonal attraction that draws families and friends to the park, spreading holiday cheer. The park features a playground that kids love, with an exciting new one currently under construction. Even in its early stages, it looks like it will be a major upgrade, adding even more fun and charm to the area. The existing playground is already a hit, offering plenty of space for children to play while parents relax and take in the scenic surroundings. What makes Roberts Park even more appealing is its proximity to a variety of restaurants and activities, ensuring there’s always something to do nearby. Whether you’re grabbing a bite to eat, exploring the area, or simply enjoying the park’s amenities, it’s a great spot to spend the day. With its blend of festive events, family-friendly facilities, and convenient location, Roberts Park is a must-visit when in Port Aransas. It’s a place that brings the community together and offers plenty of reasons to keep coming back.

Went out for a drive to escape the house for a bit. Haven’t been out in 4wks. It’s a beautiful relaxing drive out this way. This seemed like a nice spot to relax for a moment while still practicing social distancing. Not many people out which was a plus. Mostly fishermen along the rocky edge. It was a nice place for a little walk. No dolphins this time but we did see some Jellyfish chilling along the shores edge. Dipped in to the Restroom to wash my hands and it was very clean and well maintained. There was also a really nice play set/ play ground if you have kiddos but it’s currently closed by Parks and Rec. Also a nice spot to picnic 🧺 eating on the sandy beach isn’t your thing. Lol

A very beautiful, calm park with spectacular views of water. This places was one of the highlights because not only it has amazing views, you could spend your day here watching ships and boats go by. We spend around an hour in the park yesterday watching the ships and it was so mindful. We also spotted some dolphins and turtles and it was spectacular. The wildlife, nature and us, I felt how much we are connected with each other. They also have very clean restrooms, lots of picnic tables and chairs. They also have a beautiful pier where you can walk and enjoy the view. We also spotted the red dragon pirate ship while we were on the park and it was so fun watching them.

Great park. Three distinct playgrounds for all ages, grilling areas, lots of covered picnic tables, open green spaces, large concrete slab boardwalk for walking, biking, or fishing, views of the ferry, views of the bay, views of sailboat and shrimp boats, and Pirate Cruise, fishing pier, overlook towers, plenty of bathrooms, and plenty of parking. I hadn't been here since the ferry traffic was been rerouted. Where it was exhaust smelly, loud, sooty, and dangerous to cross before, it is now sparce and cautious park traffic, relaxing, peaceful, and so beautiful. Probably one of my favorite parks in the surrounding areas.

Our favorite place to go while in Port Aransas. Want to see dolphins? Go here! Want to walk on a Pier surrounded by beautiful boats? Go here! Want to watch the sunset while palm trees blow in the air? Go here! This park is clean, safe, and so relaxing. We have even seen sea turtles on the shoreline (although not often). Fun themed playground for kids, lots of place to walk, just all around great. Insider tip: if you go in the evening there is a chance you will see gigantic oil boats cruise by. Cool in itself due to the massive size, but even cooler is the dolphins usually jump out of the water in front of the boat!
