Today was a day filled with gratitude as I delivered my new brochures to the Port Aransas Chamber of Commerce. This marks an exciting new journey for both me and my company, and I couldn't be more thrilled. As a proud Native American woman in a small community where I might stand out, I find great pleasure and honor in staying true to my authentic self. It's important to me to show up in spaces where representation matters, and I am deeply grateful to have owned my own company for nearly 10 years now. The best part of today? I got to share this moment with my family by my side.

Enjoyed the 2025 Whooping Crane festival - even in the bitter cold. One comment - better directions on the activities. I ran into several issues with directions/location as did fellow attendees. I found my way most of the time, but just better directions could have made it that much better.

I really enjoyed the scientific boat ride, so fascinating. The tour to see the whooping cranes was great too. There were guides on all sections on the boat and they were really engaged and informative. I loved that they came around asking for questions. The sites also did not disappoint, we saw so many birds. Setting expectations with travel time to ANWR was...

Is it just me - or do other people get excited about visiting an area when they learn more about what makes it great? This is a very nice little place with clean bathrooms - but what really rates those 5 stars is those VERY knowledgeable and helpful ladies who work there. When we left, we had a long list (and helpful maps and brochures) that filled our short visit with exactly what we wanted to see and do. This is a great visitor center for...
