Tippy Toes — Local services in Port Aransas

I had been looking for years to find custom fitted toe rings so was ecstatic to find this place! This is a very unique and cute little store and the two ladies who were doing the fittings were very helpful. So why would I give them three stars? This is due to the gentleman who rang us out. I had questioned the total but I was told it was correct, so after getting my receipt I went and checked the prices of each toe ring on the board and found I had been over charged 13 dollars on one toe ring. Upon bringing this to his attention he got very angry and questioning me about who did the toe ring fitting and hollering to the kind lady across the store (mind you all this is happening in front of other customers and my young daughter). He then proceeded to question me what ring I had gotten and upset that the pricing for this ring had been labeled wrong on the board. Which as a customer I have nothing to do with this or the pricing and again he began yelling at the lady all the while she was trying to make it right as she had from the beginning and just issue me a refund on the overcharged amount. I did end up getting the over charged amount refunded. The reason for writing this review is in the hopes this gentleman does not treat other customers let alone other coworkers with this type of disrespect and anger. I was looking foward to visiting Tippy Toes while we were visiting Port Aransas but my experience was not fun at all.

The lady behind the counter was not friendly at all. I felt like I was a bother or inconvenience being there. I was the only one there but I felt rushed and not wanted so I quickly picked a toe ring. It didn’t fit the right way and she didn’t seem happy to help me find a solution. I felt like an inconvenience so I quickly decided to keep the toe ring instead of asking her to continue to help me with the fitting.

Now that I’m home I wished I would have not bought it, the fit isn’t right and the thickness is off. I have only had the toe ring 3 days and it’s already falling off. I should have just left the moment I wasn’t greeted and felt the lack of warmth and customer service.

Oh my!!! So much fun y'all. Custom fit toe rings, talk about addicting!! Put some bling on those pretty toes before heading to the beach!!! They don't come off (unless you want) and trust me, when you wear closed shoes you only feel it maybe the first time. They don't interfere with anything shoes or not, but they are so darn cute!! I have FOUR! Go back every trip. Now getting pinky rings too! (Shop staff has to be and is LICENSED for this). It's fun ladies!! But there's so much more to see and pick up while you're in there - unique gifts and treasures, fun things to take home to remind you you'll want to go back soon!! I LOVE this place so much!!
