Board House — Local services in Port Aransas

Been here a few time before, 5 star review everytime. This Sunday was the only chance I had to get some bearings. Checked the website . Cool, closes at 6. Hopped on the ferry at 4pm plenty of time before they close at 6. Got there at 4:40 a crowd was outside waiting to get in .I was thinking business is booming. Not the case. Closed .store hours on the door matches the website. I guess they sold enough they didn't need any more money .I watched passed off parents take there kids and leave cursing. I loved the Board House, especially talking with the owner. He is a fun guy and has been in the area for years. He found out I am from the islands and we got chatting. A very down to earth guy.

The layout was awesome and the lighting was nice and bright. Now that I know they're here, I will come again. We bought some shorts and long sleeve board shirts for my boys.

We were down in the area for spring break. Decided to rent a few surfboards. We looked high and low to find a spot, ended up landing at the Board House.
