The Docent that visited with us was exceptional in his knowledge. History as well as current knowledge of Port Aransas was appreciated. He explained the lay of the island from a large map and had vast knowledge of this area. He scrolled thru pictures to show us specific items we asked about. The Port Aransas Museum is a very fun and educational place - and provides visitors with a detailed history of this resort town. It is a welcome diversion from other "beachy" activities, especially on rainy days or when you need to get out of the sun for a while.
