Port Aransas Art Center — Attraction in Port Aransas

The Art Center of Port Aransas is a beautifully curated gallery featuring local and international artists living in the area like myself 🤍 Most artwork is inspired in the natural surroundings of the area, you will find landscapes, birds, fish, and abstract pieces inspired in those subjects. Coming in the gallery makes a great day activity for all the family, kids will love to look at fun art, parents will love the amazing photography, and if your walls are all occupied, there is gorgeous wearable art, hand made one of a kind jewelry, statement pieces and other small souvenirs.

Most of the artists volunteer at the gallery on a daily basis, so you may get lucky and meet some of us during your visit.

There is a calendar of event on the front counter . Parking along the front of the building. We spent approximately an hour here, looking at all of the artwork, revisiting some of the ones that picked our interest. I am beyond thankful that we went there because it picked my daughter’s interest back in painting. We stopped and grabbed a canvas from Dollar General and we cracked out her acrylics and paintbrushes when...

I am an art junkie while vacationing and love to collect local art so I definitely did not pass this up. There was a very nice lady and gentleman running it, they were very nice letting me sit and sift even offering wine. I definitely spent more than I needed to but not as much as I could have because there were so many great pieces. I did notice that they had community art area so it is really cool they do classes because we like to support local. The small note card sized prints ended looking great in frames that we got from Hobby Lobby, it was 3 cards per frame...
