Hamilton's Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Port Arthur

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this place. I have been trying to contact the owner to let him or her know my experience. I went on a lunch break from training after 45 minutes we requested our food to go. That's when it went bad, we were ignored by the staff, I'm not sure why our food couldn't be boxed up and paid for so we could go. We asked for the manager and he was rude and didn't even try to ask our side of the story. He then began recording and asking us to leave, we were not rude we just needed to leave, he said you guys should have managed your time better, the manager. We did not get our food no one in the restaurant attempted to help us, I pray there are cameras in the store so that the owner can see what went on because I am sure the manager and waitress will spin this to their advantage and make up out to be the bad guys. Needless to say please cooperate reach out to me. When the manager came out he was already defensive and rude, no customer said anything to us the waitress was talking to them about what her version of the story was. This is what i expected truely from this place, the reply was all i needed to know i do not need to revisit this place. I needed to update this post, no one in my party cursed the wait staff, the entire reason I posted was to ensure this information was not misinterpreted to the owner and the reply proved me correct. I went to Hamilton’s on Mother’s Day for the first time. It was nine of us. We arrived about 11:45 and the wait was about 30 minutes. Our service started off okay. Then my son picked up his half eaten roll by a long strand of hair. I discretely showed our waitress and she just brushed it off and said she would get us some more bread. I declined her offer. Nothing else was said about it. No manager approached us. Nothing. (I should’ve took a picture of it.) Well our food was good. I do believe my 18 year old son got food poisoning. As soon as we got home he was on the toilet, back and forth. Then that night he was vomiting. It was bad coming out both ways for at least 24 hours. We kept him hydrated and he finally ate again Tuesday evening (a plain baked potato). He is the only one who had an appetizer of boudin balls. Maybe they sat out, maybe the meat was bad, maybe it was spoiled. Anyhow I will not recommend Hamilton’s to no one and will never go again....

Ordered two club sandwiches to go. They were terribly greasy, and I wasn't even aware there was a way to make a club sandwich greasier than a hamburger. The ham had even been slapped on the grill to warm (sear?) it, which added to the effect. The "bacon" was extra thick and chewy (not remotely crispy), and the bread had been buttered so heavily to grill it that it was soggy. I understand what they tried to do here, but I was under the mistaken impression from the description that I was getting a fairly normal club sandwich. Would not order again. Also, please have whomever is cutting the sandwiches cut through the whole sandwich, not just the top. Both bottoms were completely untouched, and in one case, the bottom layer of meat was not even cut through.
