Let’s start off by saying I hate pizza. My first mod experience was in Baytown and I fell in love with MOD Pizza after that I would drive all the way to Baytown at least 2 to 3 times a month just to get a pizza I could not wait for them to open the one in Port Arthur. My first experience with the Port Arthr location I was the first one in the parking lot for their first soft opening before the Grand opening. They were supposed to open at 10:30 so I was there for 10 because I wanted to be the first custom. I waited in the parking lot for 30 minutes for them to open. I got to the door I was so excited and they told me they was not gonna open till 11 I was not about to wait Another 30 minutes so I left. Second time I ordered over the telephone because they had not put their store on the app yet I picked my pizza up and got back to work and was very upset because my pizza was not right.. The third time I went I ordered in person to make sure they fix my pizza right this time they fixed it just like I wanted it but they didn’t put the sauce on right they just dabbed it on there with the spoon and I asked him to swirl it on top so I had clumps of tomato sauce all over my pizza on top of it I don’t really like the taste of the tomato sauce is why I told them to just drizzle some on top. Also, the crust wasn’t right. If I had never been to the MOD Pizza in Baytown and ate at the one in Port Arthr first I would never have went back, but because I know, what MOD pizza is capable of I am going back for the fourth time to give them one more chance today. If they don’t satisfy me this time I will be going back to Baytown. Oh yeah and one other thing the raspberry lemonade in Baytown is way better than the one in Port Arthur. I was told by the employees in Baytown that they were going to be in Port Arthr training them so if this is true that the Baytown employees training the Port Arthur employees y’all are not...
Read morePeople always take the time out to complain but never take the time when they have excellent service. So I have been to Mods quite a few time since it’s been open and I have not had all the best experience every time I went. You have some workers that are doing there job and some who just there to get a check. There is a young lady by the name of D’Mari who works at the Mods in Port Arthur and I have to say she is absolutely amazing. I’ve seen her work all over your establishment which is amazing to me cause that shows leadership and being a team player but what what Mods should know even when it’s busy she remains interpersonal, doesn’t get overwhelmed and has time management. I can honestly say the times where my pizza tasted the best she made it. I had just the right amount of toppings! I did not even have to tell her I need more or take some off she must have an eye for measuring. When she worked the oven my crust wasn’t burnt I didn’t have to send it back for being over or under cooked. Even the dough was perfect when I seen her on the bread maker. I don’t know what made D’Mari apply to work there but Mods please show her that you do appreciate her and what she brings to your establishment. D’Mari definitely needs a higher position, a raise or something. As someone in management when you have employees that go above and beyond as D’Mari does when shown appreciation you can almost bet your employee is going to keep doing what is asked and more. Kudos to you D’Mari keep up the superb work and I hope...
Read moreIt's really a shame that this place isn't going to make it. What should be a great alternative to your typical delivery is ruined by poor management and a terrible location.
Decided to stop in on my way home from work just before 6PM and order a couple items to-go. I had a family in front of me ordering and having their pizzas made, but rather than be greeted I quietly stood and watched an employee breaking down a make station. It was 10 minutes when I was finally acknowledged by the manager on duty who told me that I would be helped by the employee currently making the customer's order in front of me. One employee making the pizzas and checking out customers. When I finally had my pizza made and paid for, I waited another 10 minutes before it was placed in the oven (by the manager on duty no less). While waiting on my food to cook I witnessed the wait line grow and grow, an off duty employee come in to order food and give a Doordasher the wrong order, and several customer who also ordered in store receive their orders before me. I even had another customer ask how long I had been waiting, as it was clear as day the poor attention being given to orders and management of resources.
The saddest part is the pizza is great! However if I'm going to wait over half a hour I'd rather do it in the comfort of my own home, where I'm certain a 2 hour old order won't be given to my delivery driver by an off duty employee to...
