Usually I can count on a great visit here but this time was different. I showed up early at opening time was the first customer of the day. I thought great this will be a quick trip. Boy was I wrong waited an extremely long time. Several other customers came in and ordered after me and got their food and left. Normally I wouldn't have thought much about it but I was the first customer there I watched them unlock the door. I only ordered a small sandwich not sure why it took so long. Not to mention after the long wait I got home and it did not have the toppings that come on the New York steamer. It had toppings I had never seen before on the sandwich. I have ordered the large sandwich many times with no problems and tasted good each time. They had young kids working in there maybe no manager was around...

So 3 of us Houston medics stopped by today at 6pm in uniform by ambulance. Was greeted with the normal cordial hello. After that though, us three and 4 other customers watched as the owner and six other workers ignored us completely and tied up one register to take a phone order. She was doing this for almost ten minutes while her workers watched the line grow, but no employees said or did anything to help us. The owner never looked up once or acknowledged any customers presence. C'mon firehouse subs, you are run by firemen... this is how you treat medics in uniform not to mention the other people in line? We were forced to leave, and other customers followed to go next door to chipotle after being ignored. Horrible...
