Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Port Isabel

Horrible customer the worst I have been treated in a fast food restaurant!!! First we were greeted by saying hi welcome to IHOP, n we questioned "did you just say IHOP" then he seemed to repeat an order and we never ordered in the first place. So we proceeded to drive to the window thinking maybe they can't hear us. When we got to the window and we told him we couldn't make out what was being said he then pretended to not know English and spoke in Spanish well we are completely fluent in Spanish as well, keep in mind he had just repeated an order perfectly in English. We told him not to worry we can order in Spanish and he started to smirk and said "are you gonna order", in Spanish, at this point he had pushed our last button and we asked for a manager and he called for the manager who in the back stated " I'm busy what do you want". He came to the window and we began to try to let him know what just happened and well he blew us off and said I'll talk to him what do u want to order.. at this point we just said No thank you out of fear they may do something to our food and not risk it.. I have never been treated like this anywhere and if this was some immature joke from this guy I hope he at least gets reprimanded for this type of behavior I hope your management reviews cameras on this incident because if it was me I would have fired this guy on...

This place sucks so much and is not worth your time and money. I’ve lived in Port Isabel for my whole life and I can tell you that this churches chicken sucks so much ass. They always argue with me parents and always argue with me when I ask a simple question. But this always comes after they give me a wrong order. Which has always happened. If you ever read this review please understand that it’s the workers not the food sometimes. The food is decent but at least a 2 out of 5 but even then it sucks because after getting mad and having to deal with waiting about 30min to get my food it’s not worth it. I hope no one ever eats there to a point where they close down. I hate the people there and I can say that knowing how they act and in a small town knowing who they are it...

Fast cordial service and they were VERY busy at about 5:40pm. Our first time here, so we were indecisive. After talkjng with another customer, We each got a $4 box. I would have liked to have the spicy instead of plain which was offered with my box, but I took advantage of the cup of jalapeños at the register to spice my meal up, my small French fries were the perfect small amount for me and my 3 piece tenders were good, hot and fresh fried, I gave one to my husband who had the other box. Coleslaw is ok. The biscuits were just put of the oven and delicious! We went in and took our meal to go, honestly Cannot...
