Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Port Isabel

Had a hard time processing what happened to us at the Port Isabel Jack in the Box on August 3rd, 2024. We took our 9 yr old niece for an egg and bacon sandwich around 11 pm, before heading home. Even though staff took a long time to take our order, we stayed because it's what our Lily wanted to eat. My husband and I also ordered breakfast & I specifically ordered #21 with sausage and no cheese on my egg. When order was brought to our table, my order was wrong, I had received a #21 supreme that came with ham, bacon & cheese, but NOT sausage, so my husband returned it to exchange it for the regular Sausage croissant. That's when the team leader from the back came out and said we had been charged for the more expensive supreme croissant, and that's why we'd been given that sandwich. My husband explained that I wanted the simpler, cheaper croissant. The team leader said he'd make us a new one, BUT we'd have to pay extra for sausage. This made no sense. We didn't know about order mistake because we never got a receipt! Discussion got louder, and then the team leader told the clerk to return our money and ordered my husband to leave. The clerk kept apologizing. We asjed to speak to a manager, but there was none working. We felt bad for him. We went back to our table to collect our things and the Team Leader comes over and brings the correct order and says, "here, I made your order, I was trying to charge you for the sausage, because I didnt know that it was cheaper than the supreme #21, just next time don't bring in your attitude." My husband says we didn't want the order, at this point, just an apology. The team leader never apologized for all the commotion nor for the unprofessionalism he displayed. My niece was scared by his aggressive behavior. She thought the team leader was going to hit her uncle. I am still in disbelief. Horrible experience for Jack in the Box fans. It’s always a problem at this location. You order 2 tacos you get 4. You order 4 tacos you get six do you guys not know how to count? At that point it’s a waste of inventory. I normally wouldn’t complain about getting extra food but the food is always wrong anyway so i definitely don’t want extra. Don’t comment and send me some annoying link saying “we would like to know more about your experience” you have a ton of negative reviews on here so you should just fix the issue. Sometimes you just want some fast food on your lunch break and we don’t have a lot of options here in port Isabel and i normally love jack in the box but lately it’s becoming a problem. I ask for no taco sauce on my tacos and every single time you guys don’t listen and put it on anyway. That takes up more time for y’all and my time and it’s a waste of food because once it’s handed to me you guys can’t resale it. Please fix...

June 14, 2025 It’s my first time coming to this Jack in the Box. My family and I are coming from Laredo and this was our first stop after being in the car for 5 hrs. First thing I do is go to the women’s restroom and see literal puke or shit on the floor everywhere, I’m not even sure what it was because I got out of there quickly. I had enough time to smell it though and smelling whatever that was on the floor just pissed me off I couldn’t even eat the tacos because obviously my appetite was gone. Idk if it’s my fault for having bad timing but I wouldn’t wish that on anyone, I think I literally saw someone’s shit.
