Happy Saint Patricks Day🍀 maybe a little less Luck for this Irish Lady? Our family has visited this particular Jimmy Hula’s location many times and it’s Consistent with the Food Quality for the most part but it’s the Delivery, Customer Service and MANAGEMENT that really needs more attention to Detail. I ordered our Meals at the counter as usual. When I arrived back to our table carrying our drinks a server was dropping off my husband’s burger? (all while clearing I was using a Cane it’s pretty obvious no worker thought to offer assistance to a handicapped lady ) I interrupted the server to ask and she said the rest of the food will be right out………. Well needless to say it wasn’t, my husbands burger sat there for 15+ minutes and I asked to speak to a Manager….that server continued to do her work and kept smiling? Then another server seemed to noticed we looked distressed I’m sure, she asked if we needed anything and I explained we already asked for management and of course then the Manager showed up… he was explaining how busy they were and I looked around and said that’s not a good excuse because they weren’t busy and of course he said they were busy earlier …? Needless to say he did NOTHING and then the second part of our order arrived without Fries or Utensils, my Taco order had no sauces and when the Truffle Fries arrived they had nothing on them just plain Fries. We didn’t bother complaining any longer because it seemed to ‘Fall on Deaf Ears”. I’m sorry but It may be a while before I can entice my husband to give them another try. I’m very Dissatisfied because we rarely have eaten out for almost two years and we just paid $35 plus a Cash Tip Bucket Deposit and we feel like they really didn’t care? What’s with Customer Service these days…Don’t most people to to Restaurants TOGETHER TO EAT TOGETHER? IS THAT SO HARD TO ASK FOR? HERES A HINT GET ANOTHER HEAT LAMP OR TWO AND TRAIN YOUR COOKS AND SERVERS TO SERVE FOOD TOGETHER!!!!!! one might expect to get food served separately at maybe a McDonalds but NO EVEN THEY KNOW WHAT PEOPLE WANT-THEY WANT TO EAT WARM FOR TOGETHER! Went the day before yesterday and ordered a double patty plain combo with fries and drink My wife had a cheeseburger fries and drink One daughter had a single patty plain burger drink and fries and my other daughter had a bowl with truffle fries and drink. First the food does not come out at same time. All comes one or two items. Then for my double patty, they gave me two hamburgers with no bread I then said it's wrong and the girl said oh you wanted bread? Soa she comes back with each burger now with bread on what was supposed to be a double patty burger. Smfh Then my wife nor I received fries My daughter's burger never came so I gave her one of the so called doubles I had. Then is asked the girl about the rest of order and she said that's it. I Then asked for my receipt as they did not give to me once I paid Also after ordering the girl.taking the order read back the order the way I ordered it so why are they saying that's all I ordered. Then I guess the manager came and says this is what's in the receipt but he did not show me nor did he give to me. What he repeated was not what I ordered and if I didn't oder the meals then why do I have 4 drinks? Smfh Eventually he apologized and brought me my fires and double patties but still didn't have my daughter's order of single patty and fries. It seems the only person who had all their order was my other daughter who had bowl and truffle fries When my burger came it was nothing but grease and I could not finish eating it so we left. Today (I don't know why) we ordered delivery from them and again my daughter had plain single patty with fries. They gave her a cheeseburger. Read moreIncredibly disappointed in the service yesterday at Port Orange Jimmy Hula’s. I’ve never experienced this before. As a single mother of three littles, I’m always grateful when I receive a discount offer from Jimmy Hula’s through email. Their online ordering was down yesterday, 10 January 2025. I called @ 2:50 PM to ask if I could order over the phone and still use the discount code. The woman that answered the phone was rude and impatient with me. She wasn’t receptive, to the point where she assumed I am a DoorDash employee - not sure why she assumed this. I was put on hold while she went to “ask the manager” if I could use my discount code. She rudely said, “yes, we will give you the discount, as long as you show us the offer on your phone when you arrive.” I arrived 20 minutes later to pick up my single order. I was met by a young lady that said she needed to go get another employee to help me with the discount after I showed her the email, as instructed. I waited a while, to be met by another woman. I am assuming she is the one I spoke to over the phone, because the look on her face was as if I was pulling teeth. It broke my heart to be treated this way, especially as a struggling veteran trying to make ends meet. I decided to teach this woman, hopefully, a lesson of kindness: the total amt for my order after discount was about $16.00, I then signed off on a $10.00 tip - for her troubles and her struggles in dealing with a costumer that was simply trying to use the discount code emailed by the restaurant. After all of the waiting and the bitter attitudes, the food handed to me was cold by the time I got in my car to eat it. Sadly, I will not be going back. It’s a shame, because I loved coming here and have never been treated this way before. I hope they will do better with their service, and not send out discount codes if they’re not happy to redeem even when their online...
