Subway — Restaurant in Port Orange

I went in for the buy one get one cheesesteak and the vegetables are not hot the flavor of the sandwich was fine but it's not a real cheesesteak and I kind of went there for the deal which I must consider I was happy with a buy one get one free foot long and a cookie and all I spent was $10 and change but I didn't order the drink. anyway I put spinach on it I put onions which I had to ask for extra twice cuz they're very stingy with them I had to I put green pepper on it but they didn't have mushrooms which I was kind of surprised they kind of go with a cheese steak , green peppers onions and mushrooms and I put the cheese on it of course and the banana peppers I added which was a great choice and like I said I can't complain the sandwich was good it was just not a true Philly cheesesteak . next time I will go there I will go to the same store because they give me no problem about walking in there without having the app downloaded properly she helped in the assisted me through that I'm 65 and I'm not really good with that stuff so I am pleasantly surprised I will go in and check out one of the other sandwiches My pal gronkowski raves about in his commercials for Subway. We walked into the location at Nova and Dunlawton at 9pm on Wednesday 3/16/22. The girl eventually came out from the back and actually scoffed. She was visibly angry, not just annoyed but angry and disgusted customers had the audacity to come into the store. I thought maybe the hours changed and it was closing time, so I asked what time they close, explaining I didn't want to come in close to closing time. She reluctantly affirmed it was still 10pm. I told her we had a coupon for 3 subs and that really set her off! She angrily grunted, made the strangest faces while mumbling something under her breath. I told her to not worry about the order and left. She refused to give me her name, just shrugged smugly when I inquired. I was really taken back by this, never in my life have I been so rudely treated by someone in the fast food industry for just trying to patronize a location. I won't delete my former review because for the most part everything has still been good, but I wanted to caution anyone who likes their fresh melts that apparently this location doesn't have them, even though you're able to order them online. I have ordered at least 5 chicken bacon ranch fresh melts on doordash and it NEVER has come grilled like it's supposed to. And then I came to the store and ordered inside, repeated what I said and still got home and not only was it not grilled, but it was the wrong chicken. Nobody gets an order wrong 6+ times so I'm just assuming they don't have the equipment to make it correctly. Though I live across the street I will have to be driving to Clyde and Madeline from now on.

Super pleasant atmosphere. Great customer service. Lady at the counter did a great job keeping engaged and customer focused....
