This review is for a McDonald's worker his name is Chris. Chris sounded like he could be in his late teens to 20's. I placed an order on the McDonald's app from Georgia for my grandson and his friends that live in PSL, Fort Pierce area. I couldn't get the order to be processed so to go through in order to be made. My grandson was there at this store with his friends and after about 15 mins in after I had already put the order through on my McDonald's app he went up to find out what was going on with the order. My grandson went up to the front counter and asked another McDonald's worker if they had received any order with my name and order number and they said, "no." My grandson called me back and told me that they didn't receive the order yet and if I had put it through to another McDonald's location by mistake. Went on my app and saw the order went through, it was the correct location and the order number etc..so I called the store for help and spoke to Chris. Chris was a very kind young man that didn't rush me while I was trying to explain to him what was on my app and trying to figure out how to make the order to go through so they could see it so to make the order. I didn't want my grandson and his friends to wait a long time to get their food while I was trying to figure out how to process the order completely. Chris informed me on how to process the order and it went through, yay! I was supposed to open up the order and click "I'm Here" or something like that. Chris was so very nice and patient with me through the entire ordeal. The five stars is really for the worker Chris that was very patient with dealing with me a customer, this is very rare these days unless you are at a Chick-fil-A and their workers are programmed to be that way. So thank you Chris for being genuine and took time out to help a customer that was very in need to get their order processed quickly. It is very refreshing for a young man these days to be very kind in assisting a fast food customer. Thank you thank you. This order was from January 1, 2025 around 3:25pm. the cashier refused to give me back my money so I left the receipt on the counter and told her she can keep the money I was not going to argue with somebody for less than $10. Because that couldn’t buy a can of food for my dog. That was my Second and last time in almost 8 years, after I walked out people left Behind me because they were sick and tied of waiting for their meals. I wasn’t buying meals. I was only purchasing apple pies for my breakfast My neighbor ran back and took the apple pies. I told her enjoy them. I wouldn’t be eating anything from McDonald’s after that incident also, there were so many people working behind the counter in the kitchen, and all of them seem like they had no clue what they were doing They all need retraining, to be honest. unfortunately, the store is filled with young people that are clueless and needs to fully educated, on what the hospitality industry brings, I felt like I was in a dream dealing with wild animals, and I couldn’t escape the craziness, all the managers that were there their clueless on how to deal with customers and the public. Read moreIt was the worst experience I've ever had at any place ever. I waited 20 minutes for my order despite having placed a online mobile order. Additionally, when I got there there were some people who appeared to be managers or maybe district managers who were dressed in professional attire but were anything but professional. They were sitting around in the back talking and trying to give orders but not actually helping. While the lobby piled up with customers and did not acknowledge a single person. There were at least 6 people in the lobby waiting for their orders when I got there and when I left they were about the same number. Despite me placing a mobile order I counted at least six drive-thru orders and three other orders that were placed by other people after I arrived that got fulfilled. I have no words for the service at the McDonald's but absolutely horrendous and I will do my best to never return here. This restaurant is a disgrace and if I could I would've just asked for a refund. In fact, I was in the process of asking for a refund when they finally came out with my food which was old and lukewarm. I had to shout to the back of the kitchen to get so I'm body to even come out.
