My one star comes mainly from poor management response. Tonight was my last straw. Bartender was super awesome and def 5 stars tho before I start my rant. Ordered zingers (grilled not breaded) mild garlic Parmesan, side of 12 shrimp not breaded, side salad and fries for me and my other half to share with our cocktails that were just okay. Almost $70 with 22% tip. We got 4 and a half zingers with barely any sauce and 0 celery. Had to ask for it which my bartender took care of asap. She was great with getting everything asked or needed promptly. Our food order of 12 shrimp had 7 tiny shrimp, no sauce or lemon or anything and small, overcooked. This is not the first time we have been to Millers nor ordered this exact order. We were hungry and on a time crunch so we only said anything about the missing shrimp issue to the bartender. She seemed very concerned and confused as well and promised to find an answer/resolution. She asked some form of management that came to the bar to help her, she was busy. His reply was "you only got 7 shrimp in an order of 12 because they're grilled. That's how it comes when you order them grilled. Fried is 12." I was shocked and said well I've ordered this same order many of times and that was not the case. Most of the time I got more then 12 even. He rolled his eyes And said "well it should have been 7, they didn't do it right." :o Wow?!
I'm an avid Miller eater and have supported all of the locations for years. Always decent, ok, nothing worth an awesome review for but convenient and alright for the $. This being the newest location, close to my house, I've gone 6 times in the last 6 months. Only twice has it been worth it money or experience.. Highly...
Read moreTried to order on app. There is no place to put a custom request of extra celery. Yet there is a $1.68 service fee on the app. Called the store # and pressed 2 to place the order. The person answering misidentified the name of the restaurant, laughed and corrected. I couldn't really understand, so I asked if St.Lucie West Ale House Yes. Placed order. Special request was extra celery. The person tells me he has no place to put this request. I tell the person I tried to place an order on the app with the same issue. I ask if this is a call center. Yup. Just as I thought Millers has outsourced their phone orders to India or similar. I say forget it. I called the store and selected 0 to call the order in. The person takes order. I pick up the order and get it home. The Zingers are bone dry. No sauce. Could barely taste any zing. Our "cold" celery is sitting on top of the hot zingers. Mothers Day at the same location is no better. Fish basket mostly batter with scrappy white fish. Husband's prime rib tough. Overcooked. The waiter had just discussed how Millers is great at getting the prime rib cooked properly. We are done with Miller's. That's what happens when a restaurant is bought out by venture capitalists or a group of lawyers or whomever. Done with this place. There are too many other options. The pic included was taken after some of the Zingers were removed. There are no issues with the portion. We were long-time customers of Millers on Gatlin. Even the last visit there with a neighbor for lunch the fish n chips was the same. All batter and crappy pieces of white fish....
Read moreHonestly might be the worst restaurant experience i’ve ever had. I don’t tend to complain about anything because i also work in a restaurant and know how difficult things are. i know that this is a new location and it’s gonna take some time to work out some kinks but everything about my visit besides my drink and some sports games to watch was absolutely terrible. I came in to eat with my girlfriend and her parents and nobody liked their food. my wings were not hot and the garlic parm sauce on them was completely dryed up, almost as if they were sitting under a heat lamp for a very long time. they were also extremely overcooked as if someone just dropped them in a fryer and forgot about them. my girlfriend had a steak with a baked potato. she ordered it medium and the center was rare, she barely touched it. her baked potato had a piece of grilled chicken in it which is not good because you can tell there must be a lot of cross contamination in the kitchen. my girlfriends mom had a cup of soup, it was cold and most of it was just breading on top. maybe 2 spoon fulls of liquid. and her dad had ribs that were also cold. i will admit that the manager tried his best to salvage things but it was way past that point. not to mention that our server was nowhere to be found. almost like she was avoiding us because she was embarrassed by how bad everything was. maybe i will come back in the future just to have an appetizer and a drink while watching a game. definitely not a place i would want to bring family and friends for a...
