It's wrong for a new manager to come in and hire her son, then take away hours from an employee who has been there for quite sometime! This needs to be reported and addressed! The employees who are there now have all been there for awhile and all work together as a team and do a great job! I've witnessed these employees hussel and work through a long line of people with ease and organization. This store has had several issues with managers in and out for years! The store is not run properly, employees are not treated fairly, this store has failed several health inspections due to managements negligence, the food is horrible, the food is highly priced for the quality and quantity. I've experienced rudeness first hand to customers and employees by management, equipment does not work properly and keep food temperatures correct. Short staffed always as they try to cut employees hours to a minimum, the dining room is filthy always! The owner and corporate office need to really have a meeting with all the employees and fix management issues. After all, without your employees and customers, you have no business to run! This Moe's was listed as one of the worst restaurants in saint Lucie county on the SLC scanner page. Not good at all!! I tried to give this place a chance by dining in 3 different times. My experiences were all the same..horrible food, horrible management.. period! I won't ever be returning! This store needs yet again another manager as I've witnessed 3 from present day back to a year ago. Get it together or close it down!! Corporates/owners choice in managers leaves a lot to be desired....they need to seriously hire better people for managers who follow all the rules, know how to run a Florida restaurant and treat all fairly! trust me people when I tell you...its not the staff or their fault..its management!!! Read moreI went to this Moe's on 10/15/2021 at 11:08am in St. Lucie West. I ordered technically 2 Wrong Dougs made with extra chicken and with a bowl of queso cheese. Which is pretty pricey as it is, but they've gotten even pricier most likely due to covid. But since they don't have this on the menu anymore, it would be called a Stack instead. One of the guys there knew how to make a Wrong Doug like before. So it's pretty much like a crunch wrap from taco bell but supposed to be better and fresher ingredients. All of the rice, both types of beans, and the chicken were hard. As in you could tell they were old. The only thing that was good was the tortilla, both types of cheese, and the sour cream. I even tried to smother it in their queso cheese, it still wasn't tolerable. I ended up having to give both of the Stacks to my mom's dogs to eat it, it was that bad. Even the chips weren't tolerable either. They were greasy and stale as well. An I also used to make those chips and those chips that they make now are horrible. I used to work at Moe's in Port St. Lucie/Jensen Beach location before they shut down years ago. An even after I wasn't working there anymore. I kept going back to mine, because I loved eating Moe's. So I know how Moe's works, you use fresh ingredients. I expect the ingredients to be fresh, especially when you're the first customer of the day. I could have understood if everything had been sitting there all day long. But we weren't...we were the first customers there right after they opened at 11:00am. It was inexcusable for the ingredients to be bad. I am so displeased with how bad Moe's has gotten at other locations over the years. I really wish my location in town hadn't shut down, because they rarely ever messed up my order and it always tasted...
Read moreAbsolute worst customer service. Today is my birthday and I received a coupon for a free burrito. At the register I showed my coupon and tried to scan it, but it didn't work so I handed the woman (who is also the manager) my phone. She tried the code a few times and then proceeds to hand my phone back and say "which one would you like to use". At this point she had backed out of the promo so it redeemed it and was unable to be viewed again. I tell her this and she shrug, then says "it was on the 21st". I say, "No, thats when it was given to me. Today is my Birthday (show her my ID) and it expires on the 30th 7 days after my birthday". She and the other manager start going on about "oh well we can't do it, it's gone" all why she is smiling smugly at me with a "it's your problem now" attitude. She was amused that I was getting more upset and never offered a remedy, just keep giving me attitude. Finally, I had enough and shoved the food towards her and said "JUST FORGET IT", which prompted them to say "Oh well we could have fixed it, but not like this." (referencing to me pushing the food towards them on the counter) We could just delete the item. But you need to give us respect" and I say to them, "Why did you not offer to fix it then? You haven't said anything in the past 5 minutes about remedying it, but have been acting like it's my fault when you're the one who backed out of the promo and then said you're not going to honor it." Of course they having nothing to say to that. Totally crazy that it resorted to me being pushed to the point of anger by their nasty attitudes. She obviously just didn't want to bother with it anymore and was expecting me...
