I made a reservation for 8 people on the night of Saturday May 11th at 6:00pm. It was my Wife’s 50th birthday celebration. We all arrived around 5:40pm to 5:55pm. They did not have a table available until 6:30pm. Our waitress was Anna. She was great But we felt rushed from the beginning. We all wanted to order some Sushi or regular appetizers but Anna told us it would take too long. That would have added another $100.00 plus to the check. She also stated that the Hibachi Chefs were waiting. So we all gave her our order. Hibachi Chef came out and was great. He provided us with entertainment and put on a show. We all are having a good time. After we all finished our dinner, Anna brought out our cake. She put a candle in it and lit the candle and we all sang Happy Birthday to my wife. We all enjoyed our time eating and celebrating. Then the bus girl and the lady manager in the red dress stood behind our table starring at us. We felt uncomfortable and it seemed awkward. They had another person bring out all new plates and service ware and place it on the grill in front of us. I feel they should have had more staff working if they couldn’t accomidate the customers fully. I know they want to turn the tables to make money but you want to serve the customers you have in front of you to ensure them a great experience so that they keep coming back. This is constructive criticism from someone that has been in food service management for 35 years. Please take this and use it to improve upon making your guests feel more welcome and raise your level of service and accomidations. You can only get better from it. Once again the waitress Anna and the Hibachi Chef were excellent. We did overall enjoy our evening. 45% gratuity was provided for the waitress and Hibachi Chef. Thank you both for making our celebration something...

Today my girlfriend and I went to Hokkaido for the very first time, the waiting area was nice with the koi pond and it was surprisingly busy with covid & that it was only 4PM, they had plexi glass up to protect the staff which was great and on a side note they had hand sanitizer at the tables and were social distancing but that’s about the only good things. We ordered 4 rolls and a sashimi appetizer, the appetizer was great, the fish tasted fresh and salmon and tuna were top notch, the four rolls we got... Not so much, the rolls we got were honestly not made that well and didn’t taste anywhere near as good as a lot of local places, most of the rolls had way more then the usual amount of certain things, for example the St. lucie roll was absolutely filled with salmon skin, which in moderation is great but this completely ruined it, another was falling apart, and the lobster tempura roll had very little in it. Also during our meal (we weren’t in the hibachi area but we were next to it) we literally had food thrown at us. One of the guys at the table in the hibachi area went to the doorway and the chef was flinging food which hit me, and got all over the floors to where the hostess had to say that there were other guests were here (THANK YOU BLONDE HAIRED HOSTESS for looking out for us!) the service was ok, never caught waitresses name and she wasn’t really doing anything to make the meal enjoyable.
All in all have been to many different sushi restaurants in the area as it’s my girlfriends and I favorite food and Hokkaidos despite looking nice and having great reviews was very...
Read moreExtremely low class servers, last night towards the end of the evening with my friend his wife his son daughter from another marriage and I were there together and a man from another table took a liking to my friend's wife and had the waitress bring a note over with his phone number asking for hers which was one of the lowest class things I've ever seen in a respectable restaurant disrupting family Harmony but why would the waitress assist him in this and then the guy has the nerve to follow her into the lady's restroom when she got up to go to the bathroom so if this is the type of establishment you're running now then we probably have been there for the last time and wouldn't recommend anybody else going there either if it's going to be a pickup dive where men hit on married women at another table that they have never seen before in their life and the waitresses assist them in that. Are you kidding me, they are extremely lucky the husband didn't create a big scene because the wife kept saying please don't please don't but he should have.. that was the lowest class act I've seen by the customer from another table and a waitress in a long time... We were seated on the right side by the bathroom it's between 6:30 and 7:30 and this waitress thin short brown hair glasses has no class whatsoever to assist anybody in destroying family Harmony and dinner...It was a total garbage move by...
