2 of the last 3 most recent purchases have been problematic. Trip 1, the window attendant thought it was a good idea to stuff 7 napkins in each of the drink tray holes before placing the two concrete mixers in the slots. THIS DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF THE DRINK TRAY. which is to SECURE THE CONTENTS. Had a mess to clean up on the floor of my car by time I drove the half-mile home because one mixer tilted and the other mixer fell completely out. The fact that the concrete mixers were made incorrectly exacerbated the problem. They were more like watery shakes AND each was missing the sauce ingredient. Concrete mixers when made correctly can be turned upside down without spillage!
Called AND emailed them with all of the details regarding my issue, including the half-hour I spent cleaning my car. The phone number was an eternal busy signal and the email only said they would try to get in touch with me by phone. How about respond to the issue IN THE EMAIL? This issue never got resolved despite the specific details I gave them on two occasions.
Trip 3, I asked for my burger to be made SUPER WELL DONE (my exact words) because they tend to undercook their burgers at this location. The burger came back less than medium and in the center it was medium rare as there were deeper red segments. I got the exact opposite of what I specifically ordered. Receiving an undercooked burger despite my requesting the exact opposite has happened at least 7 times before in the past several months, but never THIS undercooked. NOTE: the image below was AFTER microwaving the burger for 30 seconds. I understand that it is mostly young adults working during the times I visit; but how hard is it to BURN A BURGER ON REQUEST??
All the complimentary coupons in the world doesn't fix repeatedly problematic order issues.
I'm done with this location.
(They still get two stars because the window attendants are ALWAYS extremely courteous and cheerful, which is no small feat in the fast food/fast casual industry) UPDATE (11-17-20): Culver's was nice enough to issue me two free value basket coupons for the above mistake with the undercooked food. I used one of the coupons today and ordered a 4-PIECE chicken tender basket with the notion that they couldn't possibly undercook chicken tenders.
I got home with my order and there are only THREE chicken tenders in the box... I am not making this stuff up, folks! I used the coupon for a free value basket issued to me for screwing up my (undercooked) order, and they screwed up the free order, too! This wasn't during a rush or a usual busy meal time. I call Culver's and speak to the manager who was pleasant and will issue me another free value basket coupon in the mail. Maybe this is the franchise owners' way of perpetually feeding the hungry of the community during COVID...
Even though everyone involved was super polite as usual, I have no choice but to remove another rating star.
PRO TIP: make sure the employees you hire can at least...

Read moreWent thru the drive thru, told the guy the first order, had to repeat 3 times and then my husband said his order. Had to repeat that 2 times. Get half way down the road to have not gotten a curd we ordered but instead the guy put pretzel bites on my order. How does a chicken sandwich with ketchup mayo pickles tomato with a curd instead of fries and a large unsweet tea sounds like pretzel bites.. so turned around went in got my curd I asked for but the guy didn’t ring me up for. then get onto high way before I got to my sandwich to see he didn’t even get my chicken sandwich right. I didn’t want lettuce I don’t like it (couldn’t even pick it off because they put the lettuce then mayo ketchup pickle and tomato right on top of it so unless I wanted to scrape all the things I wanted off I got to eat the nasty lettuce) and lol guess what it was a regualr menu chicken sandwich my “mayo ketchup pickles tomato” was to complicated to put in I guess so he did what he wanted. Spent $27 to have my order messed up and had to turn around and got a little attitude when I went in to get what I asked for. SMH. Wisconsins culvers officially suck! minocqua culvers is right behind this one. They were horrible as well.
