Tucked away in Wisconsin, this sushi restaurant is an unexpected treasure that rivals top-tier coastal establishments. From the moment I stepped in, the atmosphere was inviting—modern yet comfortable—with a warmth that made the experience feel personal. The staff were attentive, kind, and genuinely proud of the food they served, which immediately set the tone for what would be an exceptional meal.

I began with the miso soup, house salad, and edamame—each simple, but executed with precision. The miso was deeply flavorful and perfectly balanced, the salad crisp and refreshing with a bright, tangy dressing, and the edamame served just warm enough, with a satisfying snap and gentle seasoning.

The sushi itself was outstanding. I tried the California roll, Boston roll, and tempura shrimp—all beautifully plated and bursting with freshness. The rice was light and delicately seasoned, the fish tender and vibrant, and the tempura perfectly crisp without a hint of excess oil. Every bite revealed a balance of flavor and texture that demonstrated both skill and care.

Chef Jason’s decade of experience is unmistakable—each dish reflects the confidence of a true craftsman. The quality of ingredients was exceptional, and every element exceeded expectations.

Whether you’re a devoted sushi enthusiast or simply looking for a memorable meal, this restaurant delivers an experience that’s both refined and heartfelt. It’s the kind of place that reminds you why dining out can still...

I have been here twice. Both times I have had lovely food and drinks. Service has been attentive, yet gave me personal space, which I love. I was able to enjoy a nice moment eating fantastic sushi, some of which was new to me.

If you like raw fish, I recommend the Rainbow Sashimi appetizer (cucumber sticks wrapped in assorted sashimi with ponzu sauce (4pc)). The Chicago roll was great: savory, sweet, spicy, crunchy. The Calamari Salad offered fun new textures and was full of flavor. There were several options for sake and I had the Chika Sake Cup, which was smooth with a hint of sweetness.

I had an appetizer and sake while I waited for my to-go order. Everything was well cared for and the team member double checked everything included in my to-go order was in the bag.

My daughter had been dying to try this place so I sent her and a friend to get some sushi and I ordered some for them to bring back .. they said service was awful and they weren’t very polite and expected a tip after awful service.. that was their experience dining in mine at home was a box full of sushi all over the place no bag no chop sticks no nothing just pieces of sushi that I could even make out if it was what I ordered or not .. definitely not impressed oh and they didn’t give a receipt so even if I’d like my money back which I do I can’t get it . I hope they step it the heck up . Because this...

The atmosphere is very cozy and chill, very welcoming. The staff greets you and doesn't make you feel rushed. I loved that they incorporated pictures into the environment for people less familiar with specialty rolls. The sushi was super fresh and sauces were top tier. It is taking every ounce of my being. Not to put up the video of my daughter eating in one bite my blue crab roll. But if you can do what she did and eat it in one bite then you really are a beast because their specialty rolls are massive. 10 out of 10 sushi and hibachi for small Midwest town. It cannot be beat.

I stopped in for a late lunch/ early dinner with 4 of my siblings. The restaurant was very clean and cozy. The staff was very polite and answered our questions. We all ordered something different so we could try a little bit of everything. I asked the waiter how big the ramen was as I have ordered ramen from a different restaurant before and it was pretty small. He said that the ramen is big enough to share and boy was he right! Everything was so delicious that we ate it before I could get more pictures. We all left completely stuffed. Highly recommend!
