Before this store opened I never had any problems with ordering a sandwich and having it delivered to my house quickly. Once this location opened Jimmy John's redefined their delivery zones for each store and as a result shrunk the overall delivery area. Now, despite having 2 locations that are each 2 miles away, I can no longer get delivery service because I live 200 feet too far west. I understand the need to live up to their "freak fast service" tagline. I don't understand why they are no longer willing to drive more than 4 minutes from their stores (this was the time quoted to me by their manager). That seems like an exceptionally small and ultimately limited service area to me. Their food is fine, nothing special. The convenience of ordering is the only reason why we ever ate here in the first place and since they have now eliminated that benefit there is no reason to eat...
Read moreI've been coming to this location, and every location Jimmy's for years; they fueled me through grad school. But I felt compelled to review after finding not one, but two long hairs in my Italian Night Club. My girlfriend forgot to get the hot peppers, so it was already an auspicious start to the meal. After a brief deliberation with my inner-strength, I powered through another bite, and was about 1/3 of the way through my sandwich when I pulled out the second hair.
Three stars for your terrific service in years past. Minus two stars because I can never go in and order there again, especially if a person with long blonde hair takes the order. How could I...
Read moreWhen I order for immediate delivery, this place is awesome. But I ordered 90 minutes in advance of a 12-12:15 delivery time, and when I called at 12:35, they blamed the delay on “a huge backup” and told me it wasn’t even through the door yet, and said sorry for the inconvenience. I get it, circumstances get wild when lunch rolls around. Maybe I’m crazy, but I think my advance order puts me in a time slot for being made roughly on time, right? This is not freaky fast. The unfortunate part is placing this order to fall between meetings, and I won’t actually be able to eat it when it finally arrives…. So with my tip I just burned $20. A little beyond inconvenienced. /update: it arrived at 12:50 after 2 calls to their location and they didn’t bring a straw for my drink. Super...
