Wings Etc. — Restaurant in Portage

We have had multiple issues with this location. We have gone with hope of improvement but have seen a lack in those. They have messed up orders where they gave us one of the hottest wings when we ordered one of the sweetest ones. They did correct that which we were appreciative.

However tonight was very disheartening. Multiple staff member were not wearing masks when talking to patrons, delivering food or serving at the bar. In times where requirements and patron safety should be in highest regards, it was not. There is no designated location for online pick up and the only spot available was the space where the servers came out of the kitchen and it can easily be observed the lack of masks and lack of social distancing while not wearing masks.

We have chosen to order carry out for a reason as we do not feel safe eating in and appreciate places that have a carry out option. However, we were made to wait longer than comfort in an area that made us very uneasy as no one was following up with our order and we were told it was only going to be a few minutes. Those few minutes ended up being almost 20 minutes from arrival. Between the concerning wait and staff not wearing masks, we are uneasy entering this...

This was the 1st time dining in since last year. Joined another couple for dinner. After waiting almost 25 mins to get our food, it was all luke warm (and thats being generous). We ordered wings, chicken wraps and fries. The sauce on the wings was so cold, it had congealed. We sent it all back. A manager asked us what they could do, we were very understanding, knowing that this happens occasionally, and simply asked for our same order. After waiting almost 20-25 mins again, it was no different. We sent it back, paid for our beers, and picked up a pizza on the way home. Great job Hungry Howies! HOT and delicious. Btw, while finishing our beers, we witnessed another table sending back their food because it was cold as well. We've always enjoyed Wings etc in the past so hopefully this isn't the new norm. It doesn't seem like it should be that difficult to serve hot food when your seating capacity is much less than before. They don’t care about customers especially plant based ones!!!! Went in for a to go order as a 1st time customer I’m plant based but my partner is not. Had to send almost our entire order back. Ordered him dry wings with sauce on the side (just in case he didn’t want sauce) the wings had sauce on them. I ordered loaded fries substitute bacon for sautéed mushroom like they put on the burgers add jalapeños. All I received was fries with cheese. They remade his chicken and instead of remaking mine and adding mushrooms which I had to pay extra for they gave me onions which I couldn’t eat because since I’ve been pregnant they give me heart burn.
